- With e-fix, the electrical add-on drive for your wheelchair, you can cover longer distances quickly and easily. Your specialist dealer will simply swap the drive wheels and install the battery pack and control unit. The motors are neatly concealed within the wheel hubs. Almost all current types of wheelchairs can be retrofitted with e-fix in this way.

I've had both the e25 and e35! I love this system but there have been a few... hiccups. One has come from my handlers setting my chair on it's side with the wheels attached. It's caused an issue where the chair randomly throws an s10 or s11 error. I'm hoping it can be fixed! I have a few minor complaints but I also cant sing it's praises enough! this is the only device available that gives me everything I need to be mobile under my own control with no large van to carry a full power chair. Just a small suv that's not modified. I do wish I could get in touch with Alber and see if I could work with them on the minor things I could see improved! (I also need a swivel arm and the anti-tippers to help make things a little easier.)

I would do anything to have this coupled with either a invacare action 5 or a quickie xenon 2 sadly it will never be in my reach due to the cost but it’s the only wheelchair system on the market which gives me all the options I need :(
Can this efix be put on a wheelchair with detachable wheels? And do you guys offer a payment plan I'm in the USA ?
I'd like to use this on my manual wheel chair because if I were to go past boston the power chair cant fold and the manual wheel chair can fold so basiclly that would be a step in the right direction for me and does most insurance cover this?

If you remove the joystick. Does it still give you an extra push if you drive wheels manually, like the e-motion?
No, you can drive the e-fix via joystick only.
I was super bummed to hear it's not compatible with rigid chairs. I have a Smart Drive and it's not usable for me because of issues with my hands and arms, they just simply cannot handle the grip needed for steering it. I was so excited to see this as an option, until I saw only the power wheels can be used with TiLite Aero Z chairs, not the E-Fix. I can't use the power wheels for the same reason. I really need the joystick. Is there any chance you will improve the compatibility in the future, for use with rigid chairs?

We can also attach to rigid frames but not to so many. However we will check this via the configurator.
Can u keep the wheels & joystick on for transport in the car?
Of course you can do that.
If you don’t use the button for a while does it get jammed
Which button do you mean? Normally no button should fail just because it is not used.

Mark, asking this means money is an issue...and the world today revolves around the almighty buck. Sadly, I wouldn't expect an answer from Alber GmbH .
Hi, the E25 had a top speed of 9.9 km/t, is there any way to set the E35 to this speed to?

Where do i buy this in the UK?
Can this be used on a rigid chair? I notice the battery pack hooks on to the cross bars of a folding chair.
There are various mounting options for the e-fix. it is best to have your local dealer check what is suitable for your wheelchair.

Alber GmbH another question, I'm going to have to have arms on my chair, ain't I? If so, what kind are recommended? can I get the detachable kind?
Yes, the appropriate side panels are required to be able to mount the control unit. Armrests are also comfortable for convenient operation of the e-fix. We can attach to most armrests, so we make no special specification here.
