Dave is an amazing guy, I love all his lines as well. I love the things he says often, like: We often get asked, what we are trying to achieve here, we can achieve this, now then what we’re gonna do. And the list goes on 😂.

I'm loving seeing so many new people commenting and saying they have subscribed to you Dave. The amount of knowledge I have learnt from you is insane. Following your advice for rehousing makes it not only easy but also an enjoyable experience rather than being stressful. I even rehoused my friends AF obt which he is convinced is evil and I didn't get so much as a threat pose just 1 calm lady who acted like the queen she is, he asked how I did it and I pointed him towards your yt channel and told him to learn from the tarantula whisperer Dave Fisher himself. Not all hero's wear capes, some own tarantulas and have a ty channel where they share their knowledge and experience.

I would like to tell you that I really appreciate your videos. There are some people who don't understand how to deal with these creatures. They are neither careful nor do they have the necessary sensitivity. I also think it's great that you always give good tips - whether it's about the right care, housing, pairing.... Stay as you are and thank you for all the great videos you have provided for all of us and for the ones which are still coming. Be nice and gentle ;o) Good statement! (But you told us before that he survived..) Very cool video.. I like to see the different behaviours of these spiders.. it really makes me stop and try and figure out just what is going on and in this situation why he feels so secure there, and if it is, that he is truly safe or just a false sense of security.. So much fun.. thanks guys..

I love how much respect you show your little friends. I watched a reptile/snake RUclipsr yesterday that kissed a Cobras head! A live one! SOOO disrespectful to the animal, as well as to the hobby. It angered me so much! This RUclipsr is very popular amongst the kids and the message he’s giving them, isn’t a good one! That fool is going to be a reason why we won’t be able to have venomous/defensive creatures in our personal collections in the future!

This video is great! I was worried for the male there for a second. I re-housed my adult female Chilobrachys Huahini today in a 30x30x32 Komodo tank, and fully took inspiration from this video as well as your Chilocrachys sp blue enclosure, created a mound in the corner of the viv with a starter borrow, live sheet moss over the top of the mound, with some added sphagnum moss dropping over and littered around burrow entrance. Not sure I would have been so creative if I hadn't seen this video. Massive thanks. Your content and husbandry is amazing.

I bought her as a unsexed juvenile like 5 years ago, so she has grown surprisingly slow. I have had them in the past, but they grew more fast back then. What i like about them is that they live like an asian fossorial, and i really like how they looks. And that they have urticating hairs on pedipalps. Very hungry spiders awell. Love your vids. Have you had any chances to go to the country’s where the Ts come from to see them in their natural habitat?

That webbing had to create vibrations that she would detect so I was surprised that that didn’t cause her to come up. Great save and nice work.

This video demonstrates just how complex these creatures are when it comes to how they assess their surroundings and how they choose to react based on the assessment. I think that we tend to over generalize and simplify a spider's behavior. We don't give then much credit when it comes to how they process information and decide what to do with it. I was actually floored over this pairing; there was so much going on here that we will never be able to make sense of. I had already began to tense and feel a sense of dread when the male ran so fast into the burrow. It was just too familiar to a typical "feeding" when the prey goes running down a burrow right into the awaiting spider. I am still in shock that the male strolled casually out & began to web. We may never see this again!!

I'm genuinely curious how exactly the insemination occurs, can we have a video where you explain in detail how it happens? I now know the behavior they exhibit from this video and others, but I still do not know how the "act" happens. What is used, and how the process of birth begins for spiders. Thanks for sharing as usual, awesome video!
