one thing i learned from my studies is that the pose is ALWAYS the most dynamic in the gesture faze

I think gesture is something my drawings really lack, so this was a great video to watch while taking a look at my art from a more objective standpoint. Really well put together, thanks for making it! I'll definitely come back to this video again for pointers. Happy holidays!

I think it's always hard to look at my art in an objective point of view. Despite it being an excellent way to get better. Thanks for the compliment. I'm glad this helped!
Happy warm holidays to you too :)

Really motivating video, I like your style. So you consider yourself a beginner, how long have you been making an effort to draw consistently may I ask. I bought my first pad this week.

I've always loved art as a kid, but I didn't draw consistently. Now trying to become a better artist, I've try to draw every chance I get.
Thanks for the compliment! Have fun on your digital art journey😊

should you know how to draw arms legs heads torso before gesture because idk how to draw any of those things to well

      I suggest you do :)
I couldn't draw gesture, not knowing how to draw the arms legs head and torso.
Just know how to draw the basics of the arms legs head and torso, you don't need to go super in-depth.

Really good video! Where do you find these good refs? I've looked for some good sport posses but always come up short

I searched on pinterest 'reference poses' and I could find lots of dynamic poses including sport poses :)
