I know GM shut Holden down for good at the end of 2020, but we can all agree this race was Holden's final chapter. And what a final chapter it was. It's sad to see the book close on such an integral part of Australia's motorsport and automobile legacy. RIP Holden, thank you for all the memories.

What a weekend. Fantastic to have Adelaide back - I truly thought it was gone forever. Great racing as always and once again the coverage from the Supercars team is quite simply the best in the world. Every other motorsport series could learn so much from the brilliant coverage they give us of each event. No music, no bullshit, super slick, brilliant highlights that show why this is such an exciting category.

Not to mention the amount of rework to get it in parity with Supercars regulations. And it being a 2 door and an American car. I guess it won't matter next year though.

The more i watch this series, the more i'm coming to the conclusion that SVG is probably the best driver in the world right now? This guy is a wizard. No wonder the Americans were really mad that he came in and showed them how good he is, in the only NASCAR race that he's done.

Sold off the GP’s regardless of being deemed “The Best” place to Street Race. Initiated the Super Cars & Again Crowned as “Best Place to Race” by Driver’s & celebrated by Fans. Again, just to be given away. But, We the people Won it back. & after that Spectacular Return to Our “Bathurst” by such talent. Good luck taking this Event Away from these “Streets”ever again.
Damn, while holden had the fairytale ending the mustangs spent there time mucking around all weekend, with Randle and Jake Kostecki in the wall at turn 8. Race 1 consisted of Reynolds in the wall ruining a podium finish, as well as the Groves messing up his wing so his top ten shootout lap got disqualified. Waters also copped a penalty for punting Hazelwood off. Qualifying wasn’t too bad apart from some shootout mistakes and Davison and Holdsworth out of it in race 1. Race 2 Davison was responsible for an all mustang crash when he dived on Reynolds, spun Reynolds around and caught Courtney as an innocent bystander sending them all to the back of the grid. Geez the mustangs did a terrible job this weekend
Broc Feeney -awesome drive, Giz, best burnout yet. Great to see Holden go out a winner, most successful brand in Australian racing history… Now with Chevrolet entering Supercars we have a full American series, Fords had 4 years of Yank cars now it continues with 2 brands. Shane shouldn’t have been penalised for the safety car overtake they had green flagged the restart and he went wide and missed the apex he should’ve won but glad Feeny still came through
thought you weren't allowed to overtake until the control (start/finish) line, as long as the other car doesn't go off the road hes allowed to be where ever he wants

No, they were correct in the end. SVG actually tapped Holdsworth in the back, and he was up alongside before the control line. Mark Larkham did a quick segment on it and showed why SVG got the penalty.

great track as it was difficult to drive it well. More tracks where the corners are difficult, but fast. Holden gone...no tears...the Yanks got their way by getting the supercar technology for their "new cars".

I just discovered V8 supercars this year but i gotta say i come to love it. I`m more of an F1 fan but this is really really amazing aswell.
