At Iowa, I would like to say 524's bumbers fell off 5 times total throughout the competition. It was a bogus red card, and yes, I am a mentor for a team in the number 2 alliance
I am from 2067 in Guilford Conneticut, and we played 2 matchs at the NE Greater Boston District Event where our alliance set the world record TWICE for the most cumulative (both alliances) clean match score. They were playoff Match 4 and Final 1. Keep up the good content ❤.
Hi I'm Scorpions 7672 mechanics captain and the technician . In finals we broke our limit switch that enables our shooter to reset it's position so we did only defense but the plan was doing both shooting and defensing.
I would like to emphasize the fact that every single team from that ID regional was ranked double-digit in alliance selection. Everyone on that #7 alliance was ranked #10-#34 yet all of them came together to finish off the obvious juggernauts that both won previous regionals. It was completely unexpected and I remember watching everyone ooh-ing and ahh-ing over 2122's balls of steel by picking teams that were completely unremarkable until Elims.
@@MysticalApple yeah, everyone was aware the Trobots were kinda carried. I mentioned in the week 3 recap that 2122 had some big cajones to reject a spot while being 10th seed.
Can you have a quick mention for the wake county NC event that happened because finals 2 was quite insane with a bumper falling off a robot and all of the blue alliance robot broke in some way

Agreed, no team should be given a red card because of another team's faulty bumper.

10:37 I was there for that one. the gasp that was gasped 😭
that was also a second time a battery had fallen out. the day before a team lost a battery bc their battery strap broke

also worth mentioning that 2122 turned down alliance 2's invitation before they were even an alliance captain

Definitely gotta talk about the western New England district. Especially 195 rebuilding their whole bot in a week then getting to finals.
