I'd be okay with a 10-2 season given the difficulty of the schedule. 9-3 wouldn't cut it for me, you gotta win one of those tough road games (Bama, Texas, Ole Miss)
I'm a Georgia fan and I'd love to go undefeated but that doesn't HAVE to be the goal anymore. It HAD to be the goal in the past to make the playoffs. Now we can drop 1 or 2 and be fine. I just hope we can make the playoffs with a healthy team and then see what happens.
1 Georgia 12-1 2 Ohio State 12-1 3 Miami 12-1 4 Utah 10-3 5 Oregon 11-2 6 Texas 11-2 7 Alabama 10-2 8 FSU 10-2 9 Michigan 10-2 10 Kansas 10-3 11 Ole Miss 10-2 12 Jacksonville St 12-1 You still have to win 10 games to get in I think.
After so many mediocre seasons and underperforming seasons I think we deserve a little bit of entitlement 🤣 I don’t expect an undefeated season but I also think there’s enough talent that it’s possible as long as they figure out the team early and don’t have down games like they have the last couple years
I get the question, but it's interesting how the 12-game playoff has already changed the conversation. The focus used to be on winning every game. Now it's "How many do you need to win?" Sad. We haven't even started the season and college football is already looking like the NFL.
As long as we make the playoffs and we're really hard to beat. I'm happy. It's really hard to win a championship even if you have the best team, but I love that Kirby has the team running at such an insane level.
As a lifelong Dawg fan. All of you that are "ok" with losing 2 games "because they can still make the playoffs". Sad. With that mentality, maybe UGA should just bring back Richt. He was always good for losing 2 games. You should NEVER be happy about losing 2 games. Now, I do understand, doesn't mean it should be ok.
All Uga has to do is take it week by week, don’t get ahead of yourself just put the work in week in and out and they will keep getting Wins week after week. Same formula same result
Saban might have pulled off one of his greatest moves yet, him stepping back to the "owner" position but still available to the kids and coaches and made it fresh again with a great coaching staff young and hungry... He's not gonna let the program slip. He doesn't have to look for coaches every year or lie to recruits about leaving. He can focus on game plans, film, and tell KD exactly what defensives like Kirby will do in every situation. Get ready for the DYNASTY part 2... The empire strikes back!!!!!
Just one problem, Saban is 72 and isn't getting any younger. He will probably still be involved in the program, but not as much if he was still head coach. Also, he can only tell DeBoer so much because at the end of the day, it is DeBoers team now, not Saban's. I have not doubt Bama will play us hard when we matchup in week 5, but DeBoer is going to have a different play style than Saban did. That being said, I'm still extremely nervous to play Bama because of past experiences and they are also at home as well, but as always, GO DAWGS!!!
Saban lurking in the shadows couldn't keep Downs, Sayin or Bond on campus. He's retired for a reason and is going to be spending a lot of time at his home in Florida. Any gameplay insight he can provide is overblown. Debour didn't make it this far in his coaching career without being able to analyze film and no self-respecting head coach is going to let him have any say on gamedays and in game adjustments.
Some, it seems, are able to get away with cheating, which they clearly did. Were any of the games they cheated in determined by their cheating? No one can say. But as long as there exists any scintilla of dobut concerning any possibility they may have lost without cheating, they should not be champion - period! Cheating should always be punished, as should cheaters. Sadly, such is the world we inhabit.
You love talking about George, yet your supposed to be a recruiting agency for college football in a whole, bullshit, your bias. You love Georgia like they really play somebody out of a waffle House. The university of Georgia plays a non conference schedule of a high school. You brag on how good they are, yet when's the last time Georgia play a true home and away game. I have they ever went to the shoe or to Oregon or USC or to Texas, not a neutral site but to their home stadium. The only reason Georgia being able to do what it took what almost 10 yrs with Smart. Is that weak ass non conference, no travel pass a dam waffle house scheduling
My brother in christ they literally just tried to do a home and home with Oklahoma that the SEC squashed. They just completed one with Notre Dame a few years ago. They have a future one scheduled with UCLA and Ohio State.
Dude said, when speaking of Georgias schedule, "they face three top ten teams, give or take." Translation for Bama fans: he doesn't expect Bama to be a true top ten team with the coaching changes and transfer losses. The game will be telling next year. Everything Kirby loved about Bama is gone (Saban - his mentor). Saban had his number, if only at games end (Kirby led until the waning moments in three games). No one does now.
Do you people even know how football works saban does not call the games , the offensive coordinator an staff do . Same with defense why do you think they exist ? Saban won with multiple coordinator combinations, absolutely terrible take on your lack of knowledge
@@hudsonstovall8119 this guy don’t even realize that when Kirby was with saban it was lame kiffins side of the ball that was winning an his recruitment not Kirby

Bama will be loaded as well, I wouldn't sleep on them either.

I want 12-0. I’d be marginally satisfied at 11-1. Disappointed in 10-2. Yes, we’re entitled. But Kirby wants 12-0❗️🖤❤️

You should be for the foreseeable future.
I don’t care if we lose a couple games going forward, as long as we go undefeated throughout the playoffs.
their last regular season loss: 2020
their last postseason loss: 2023
their last championship: 2022
they’ve beaten every SEC team in that span
but we also didnt have mike bobo, and it helps a ton when bobo isnt coaching for us
@@ranciditylol some of our UGA fans not gonna like this comment 😂😂 I agree tho

1 loss at the right time is probably the best case. UGA is dangerous after a loss or a near loss. Just ask TCU and OSU

Ohio state doesn't have to go through a gauntlet schedule like the SEC schools.
Yeah which shows in the playoffs most years. That’s why the SEC usually takes the trophy home.

11-1 I would be happy with that I want to see them win the sec championship and make the playoffs
10 wins would be good with the road games they have
Kirby wants an SEC Championship as much if not more than the Natty
idc about win totals anymore. i care about winning the big game now. that’s all that matters

Same as QB’s. 2 coaches = 0 coaches. Players won’t respect DeBoer with Saban playing “owner”.
Bama would have every single call go their way when Satan was on the sideline. Not gonna happen anymore!
