Guys if u are finn stans (like me) please don't watch the movie only for him, try to read the book. It's amazing, one of the best books I ever read. Please, this movie is not about boris so Finn is not the main character yes he's important but not like Theo. Please guys read the book
read the novel like 8 Times, a movie doesn't do this Justice, we need a HBO series. The Teenage years with Boris and Sandra are the best parts of the novel and largely missing from this movie
@@claraoswald2587 I'm Ukrainian, and Finn is actually doing a Russian accent! But it's a common thing to speak both Russian and Ukrainian, if you were born in my country :) Personally I still work of getting rid of my Russian accent hahaha Btw Finn did a really good job with Russian accent
No. Boris is just lost and confused and lonely and scared. He is a beautiful character, and though this IS Theo's story, Boris was by far my favorite character.
90% of the comments are about the kiss, which is beautiful but nothing compared to the brilliance of the book ( and hopefully, the movie as well ). so please stop fetishising gay people and respect the art that you’re witnessing. thanks.

Such a fine book. Must say that to open a trailer with the painting hanging a kilter at the Met doesn’t bode well to suggest very much attention to detail in this production, but, guess we’ll see. Maybe it’s me but-jeez, how did no one catch that?!!!
Looks generic like some good TV show and not like top kubrick like cinema, settings and all that don't look 90s like like I envisioned. Like when sh emeets Pippa that was blurry claustrophobic and magical in my head, small room, not this. Though cinematography is nice technically and acting seems nice but all of them have wrong faces. All.
