Crocoroar I'm mad that the girls really wanted to do a tenth anniversary tour (from what I read before their comeback) and do more promotions for Holiday Night, but SM had to go and ruin things... 🙄
SM fuked up their WHOLE promotions and cut it down to a week without telling them. In their fanmeeting they said they had a lot of preformances planned but it was SM who cancelled their shows. This was because their contracts were going to end it a month and they didn't want to put a lot of money into a group where the members would leave. Imo it was the last straw for some of the girls tho and pushed them to leave.

cant deny they are stronger with 9 members. Girls Generation is a full package that an idol can gave us . They good at singing, dancing , rap well and some member susprisingly act very well and dont forget they're funny af. Dont have to mention they are 9 pretty girls that give us alive everytime we watch them. Their face,attitude,outfit will always on the top. Sad to say this but holiday is the only song that got no award . A major thanks to their company!! I guess?

I don't think there will ever be another group like girls' generation. They won't have that significance or impact snsd has had.
Yes. They conquer different country. They are one of the biggest group that made kpop popular.
Well obviously they're their own groups just like no one can replace any other groups

snsd is that kind of girl group who will always be legendary even after 100 years
The no. 1 position for boy groups keeps changing and/or rotating. Whereas for girl groups, SNSD stays on top and will always be on top. They may be get surpassed by newer groups now but those girl groups are inspired mostly by SNSD and looks up to them. Even other companies tried their luck of making the next snsd but we all know no other girl group can surpass their legacy.

Edit: my favorite achievement as a SONE is “the first korean girl group to win/to do so”. Their career is built based on “never been done before” statement. Girl group w/ more than 5 members? Never been done bedore. Girl group to win daesang GDA? Never been done before. Kpop group to have 100m views? Never been done before. Hopefully, they're also the first girl group to promote under diff. agencies.

The fact that they became the first this and that made their peers and juniors feel inspired to follow their path. Think of it this way in a classroom setting during an exam: no one had the nerve to get up and waits for that one classmate to stand up and submit their papers in front. And that one classmate is no other than SNSD. Once the others feel safe that it's okay to do that or when the way is already clear, they will also take that path. That alone is a big achievement for SNSD.
3rd gen idols are just benefitting the hardworks of the past acts of kpop, making it easier for them to achieve this and that.

Idk, twice is off to a good start lol. Like snsd will have a legacy, but let’s not get cocky. The boy groups of today look up to past acts, just as snsd have listed girl groups that inspired them. Nobody stays on top forever. What goes up must come down, and from a popularity stand point they are definitely on the decline (which is natural). Like RUclips for example. Their latest videos have a fraction of the views they would have had years ago. They were a part of the kpop trend of yesterday. Let’s not act like they are untouchable, nobody truly is. Everyone thought Exo would for sure be this gens boy group and out of nowhere BTS appeared, and I think we all know what happened with that lol

MIKE Girls Generation is untouchable , they're especially so irreplaceable because they've opened a whole new world for korean girl groups back when there were mainly boy groups and girl groups weren't popular at all. Nobody knew about kpop as much as people today do (because of internet and technologu etc) and you can't deny it was mainly this generation of idols led by Girls' Generation who led Kpop to a new level. They broke the first ever 100M for kpop groups , broke the first ever 3 #1 singles in Japan , and came as the first group to be at the YTMAs , hold one of the highest points in music shows , and as of now , they are the best selling kpop girl group and the have made 6 of the top 10 highest grossing girl group tours worldwide and the first ever kpop group with 100 wins (so far only exo did it after 2 years since the record) , the only kpop artist to remain in the top 10 forbes since 2019. These are done when they debuted at an era kpop was nowhere a trend as much as it is today and when girl groups weren't as loved. These are done when SM then isn't the big , rich , and famous company it is today.

This is not to prove that they will forever be the most popular but to prove their impact is undeniably irreplaceable. Why on earth do people respect Girls Generation , yea , they've passed their peak and it's already the next generation. But it's so amazing this girl group that debuted damn early , when technology wasn't advanced and when boy groups dominated and nobody knew them , became the top girl group and made legendary records that seemed impossible then FIRST and remained as korea's most legendary girl group for 10 years. It's like why people respect MJ even when many artists obvsly surpass him in sales etc. Girls Generation is like a whole new level , an icon. The amount of girl groups who aspire to be like them shows they're an icon for kpop girl groups.

You should put the black ocean accident n their scandal. Just for reminder for us, their succesfull is not also filled with happiness, but sadness, many sacrifices, but they can maintaince their popularity. They bond still strong, their fans are strong and loyal after everything bad happened to their idol. This video missed some achievment, for group or individually, 27 mnts is not enough for SNSD. Thay fall, then rise again, fall again, and rise again. They separated and together again. They are not only succesfull girl group, they are hardworking women in this word. Love Is Amazing The Black Ocean incident was very memorable. I wasn't a fan of SNSD before that, but when it happened, I found myself siding with SNSD. And they slowly gained my respect afterwards. Although I don't call myself a fan now, I do follow their music and are amazed by their achievements. They bloomed into amazing women ❤

Anna K bact to 2008 when snsd still newbie group, they performed at dream concert. All peoples in the stadium (probably from boy group fans n wonder girls fans) turn off their lightstick when snsd came to stage. It's all dark!! Really!! The stadium very quite likes no one there. Lightningmagean because it was not her official debut yet. All the three songs that she released was all just SM Station. If they include that then they should include all the other songs that the other members released through SM Station 😊😊
you should know, Wannabe is Hyoyeon's official SOLO DEBUT (where did you get the info of it being a sm station??) And if you don't believe it, she even got her sm page for Soloist after Wannabe released. Wannabe IS Hyoyeon's official Solo debut (while Mystery is just a Sm Station). You can debut without releasing an album, a digital single is considered debut too.

I've never been super close with the members of Girls' Generation, but their music has changed me, as a person, for the better. Starting with Gee all the way back in 2011, I've always had such a connection to Girls' Generation.When I saw them back then, I saw youthful girls bursting with energy. I see them now and I see beautiful young women who have come a long way. When I heard the news of Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun leaving, I literally broke down in tears. I sobbed over the fact that this girl group I have known for so many years will never be the same again. I had to get my mom and my brother to cal me down. My classmates said,"It's just a K-Pop group, you'll get over it." Girls' Generation are not just a K-Pop group. They are a part of who I am as a person they taught me so much, from when I was nine-years-old until now. Taeyeon, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Seohyun, Tiffany, Jessica, Sooyoung, Yuri, Yoona, I know not all of you are still part of Girls' Generation, but know that you changed my young life so much. And I never want to take that back. I love you, Girls' Generation, and I hope that you can go much further than you have already come.
As their eternal fan, I knew they are great. This video reminds me of how amazing they truly are. Their milestones documented in this video are so great, and I feel like it is really hard to live up to their level of impact and significance for rookie/junior groups. This is what makes them K-pop legends.
What I really like about Girls' Generation is that they are the whole package: vocal and dance talent and amazing personalities. What made me become a fan was their Horror Movie Factory show, Hello Baby, and their Intimate Note episode. Never looked back on that (except for a moment when Jessica was dismissed), and probably the best group I can ever cheer for.
Now as fans, we face an indefinite hiatus.. I know this is super delusional, but I hope the day they come back as a group, they will come back with Jessica. Lmao :'D #OT9Forever

All of these new girl groups can say they achived this and that (and I am happy for them), but I can only say one thing to the fans who hates these very talented and one of a kind girl group and probably the biggest asian Girl Group worldwide, what ever claims (hopefully facts) you guys are saying THEY DID IT FIRST!! And if you ask me that's what make them legends and the reason why they are in history books in S.Kor., so let me ask you when will your idols even?

I'm sitting here trying not to cry and failing. These are my QUEENS. The ones who got me into K-Pop in the first place. I love them so damn much. I'm so proud of all their accomplishments. They deserve each and every one. What a legendary group of women.
