Thank you for your clear videos explaining what is wrong with the way these patterns are usually demonstrated, and sharing the basics of how to construct them correctly. 11 years ago, someone wanted to commission me to do this kind of decoration in a Turkish restaurant, but even after buying some books and doing some research, I eventually declined. Partly because it was a style I was unfamiliar with and therefore not an expression of my own artistic sensibilities, and also because I wouldn't be sure I did it the correct way according to the aesthetic principles of Divine Geometry and its cultural significance.
I have decided to work more with patterns again, and so I came across some of the sketches and notes I made back then, as well as looking up the books I have on the subject, but when I compare them to what you show, it looks like all my sources are actually constructing the patterns in the wrong way, presumably - as you point out - by using a grid rather than correctly proportioned construction points.
I'll be looking forward to trying to construct the basic four-fold and six-fold symmetries using the correct method this time, bearing in mind the important principles of symmetry and proportion.

Rotring and staedtler compass are the best. They will last you for a very long time
أشكرك على المجهود الرائع ولكن لم افهم كيف يمكن ان نكرر السكل بحيث نحصل على الشكل الهندسي الكامل Of the six folds.
اعزائي الامر جدا بسيط, كما ذكرت في هذا الفديو او فديو اخر ان الرسم يكون لربع التركيب. ولرسم التركيب كاملا تعاد عملية رسم التركيب بصورة عكسية. بمعنى اخر, عند البدء بالرسم تبداء من الزاوية اليسرى بدل الزاوية اليمنى. على كل حال سوف اعد فديو لتوضيح العملية.
