Cost-Effective Input Matched GaN Transistor for S-band Radar Applications

This is a plastic packaged SMT part that includes internal input matching for 2.7 - 3.5 GHz realised on a passive GaAs die; it is commercially available from Qorvo. The design, manufacture and evaluation of a connectorised PA reference design using the QPD1020 is also described.
