      You are welcome. It seemed almost a bit trivial when I did it, but I guess seeing how these things fit is a useful thing, especially when the tank is shaped like it is on a GS.

    I have this same bag, but the base plate is for a 2019 Yamaha Tracer 700. I bought a new bike and kept the bag. Do you know if there's a base plate for a 2024 Africa Twin? Been searching but can't find, not even in Shad's website

      I’m sorry but I don’t know. Shad should be able to confirm though. I see on their website that they have the larger ring: www.shad.es/en/bags-and-moto-backrests/honda-bags-and-moto-backrests/click-system-fitting-kit-3/
      Which fits the 2024 AT and earlier models. So I guess the question is if they make that plate for any AT (assuming the bolt pattern is always the same)

      @@PeakMotorcycles thanks 💪 i think Shad discontinued this model, which is a shame because it looks so much better when the bag is not on the bike

      Hi, if you have a bolt on fuel filler, I think it’ll fit with the right adapter plate. I have one for my CB1000R and another for my R1250GS. I also have a Duc Scrambler which it won’t fit. I checked the Shad website, and the fitting kit for a AT1100 is a X010PS. Good luck and ride safe.

    Our phone is 6.3" Wil it fit?

    • @PeakMotorcycles
      @PeakMotorcycles  3 года назад +1

      Hi, Yes, I think that will be fine. I just measured it, and the window on the outside is 8.5cm wide by 15.5cm long, so diagonally it's around 17cm or 6.5". The slot on the inside to push the phone into is 8cm wide, so if you measure the width of your phone and it's 8cm or less, then you should be fine. The only thing to consider is if you have a big case on the phone or it's a thick phone, but for a 6.3" I think you'll be ok.

    Is it waterproof?

      It is on my GS... but, it’s quite sheltered behind the screen. The zip looks like it would keep some out, but on a naked bike I’m not sure if it would have the same success. It’s definitely not like a roll bag, so if really wet, I’d probably put it in my top box.

    It’s made in China

      LOL Nearly everything is made in China. Labour is dirt cheap in China. If the same item made in the USA, UK or Australia would cost you much more, due to labor costs.
