Keep these tips coming. This year, I am joining my local MX park and going to learn how to ride motorcross tracks. i have always avoided them and stuck to single trail.
You crazy mother 😂😂😂😂😂😂 That is super cool Mr! Really was a technical corner and I love that you showed us the right and wrong way to execute it! Stay cool Mr and be safe xxx
Find a 30-40 foot table top with smooth take off and landing's that are at a minimum a little longer than the wheelbase of your bike and you will be fine with the Enduro suspension even with reduced travel.
It's an adrenaline rush for sure!! Shifting in the air is more about preparing for the next section of track after the jump. It's one less thing you have to do once the wheels are on the ground, saves you time and results in faster lap times. In this instance, we are upshifting and we accelerate as soon as we are back on the ground. Sometimes, there is a tight turn right after a jump and you downshift in the air and land on the brakes or very shortly after landing you are on the brakes hard so it all depends really and in that scenario engine braking is a good thing. 2 strokes don't have much engine braking and they feel more "freewheeling" compared to 4-strokes. Great questions Kode Grey!!

Very cool man. I’m too old for that stuff now with a bum knee but I sure like watching it!
Thanks! MX is super tough on the body no doubt, I have a number of lifelong injuries myself!!!
Cool jump. Nicely done mate.
Thanks hachewie, you know once I saw the kid on the little 85cc hit it, well 🤦♂️. It ended up being easier than I originally thought TBF.
@@MonkeyButtRides I’m jealous mate.
I'd like to have a go at some jumps, not sure how my enduro bike would cope though as I've lost some suspension travel when I got it lowered.

That looks SO fun!! Exhausting!! But fun!!
Good tips man! Does catching 3rd in the air make is a smoother landing? Less engine braking?
