Terrifying Hail Storm in Denver, Colorado 5/8/17

- Brutal hail storm rolling through Denver's Berkeley neighborhood. Most of the houses and cars on the block were badly damaged. Hail was golf ball sized or larger. The Mazda 6 seen in the video was totaled. The house suffered two broken front windows and the roof & siding needed complete replacement.

My friend I am sorry for your car, exactly the same storm happened to me yesterday in a highway near Mexico City, the ice was the size of a golf ball, my hood, trunk and ceiling of my Toyota were completing damaged. Is a mess. Greetings.

Couple years ago I got stuck in a hail storm with my sister and brother on our way back down in Colorado and it felt like people where throwing rocks at us it hurt alot and ever since then I'm afraid to get stuck in a hail storm again
I lived in Colorado springs back in 92. We live in moble home its was alway terrifying when the weather changed so fast one minute sunny and crystal clear and then with in seconds clouds would roll over the rocky Mountains like crazy
Great video..!! that was some hail storm..! Your aluminum siding got slammed...as well as your golf ball looking car. I was driving in Reno Nevada when a hail storm struck.. I quickly found a parking garage to hide in.

I don't remember this hail storm at all but I do remember a hailstorm that had to happen like 4-6 years ago that was really bad and damaged fences and Windows and schools.
As a native of Colorado these storms are nothing new. You have the best video I have seen on youtube. Some people are claiming climate change and Jesus is coming. I have witnessed worst than this in the past. I feel bad for everyone who suffered losses. This is normal. It is mother nature's way of pruning the trees and plants which actually does them a huge favor.
What was the total amount of damage?? I was out in Golden when it hit, lucky it only dented my car but did about 9k worth of damage in dents.
I'm in englewood too! no dent on my truck.

That's is gunna happen in edmonton tommorow so I hope that it doesn't break my window plus a tornado warning in the afternoon and that's when I wake up so wish me luck

Parts of Arvada got it bad too. Lots of damage to my cars but no broke windshields. Neighbors windshields did get smashed though.

No offense, but if I lived in a place where hail was a common occurrence (and I had a garage), I would make sure to always have room in my garage for my car.
