Hello Matt, How about over other chords, ie...you did it over A7, what about over Am, A, I'm sure there is an easy variation...if I'missing it. Thanks, and say Hello to the family from Lori & Dennis Fischer in Palm Springs.
You could do it over Am - it'll sound a bit more "rock" like, and you could do it over A, but it'll really miss the b7 interval that A7 has. The blues is a funny thing because it likes to use a minor scale (in this case it's Am Pentatonic) over a major chord (in this case, the A7).
This is really a lot of fun 😀 I had just had a glass of water and then played around with the bottleneck technique. 🍷🍾 🍹🥛 🍼🥄 Thanks for the nice idea🎼🎵🎶🎶....
You would, or you can play along with my playing in the video. :) A solo is typically defined as “a piece or a section of a piece played or sung featuring a single performer, who may be performing completely alone or supported by an accompanying instrument”, so this particular case is meant to be accompanied.
You are just so FUN! How cool is this!!!
.. next purchase,,, looper! Lol..
Amazing lesson
I tried this and it’s absolutely so fun! Thanks Matt!
You made that look and sound easy and for someone with your skill it is, thanks for the lesson.

Impressive, but is there a way to both? A7 chord and the solo together? because you don't have a loop machine always
Tune up your C string a half step, start strumming, and fret on the A string your solo!
Brilliant. But don't you need a second player to play the A7? and then its not a solo?? Did i miss something

Legal. Muito bom, bro. Gostei bastante. Genial. Obrigado. It's portuguese. If you don't speak, google it. 🙂
Nice one!
