Thank you so much for this, once again! I’ve been wiggling my uke a bit to try to change the sound to play more like you because I couldn’t figure out how to move my fingers like I see sometimes 🤓Now I know the real technique to practice. Finally almost through Moonlight Sonata and I will be working on adding this in 🙃
just a heads up coming from a classically trained violinist vibrato is usually pronounced with the i sounding like the i in igloo so like vib-rato instead of vibe-rato
Absolutely! I have several words that always seems to be said the wrong way. In this case I always think of "vibrations" and end up with the "long i" sound. I think the proper pronunciation is actually more of an "uh" sound, vuh - braa - tow. :)
@@MattDahlberg yup! it’s pretty common actually due to the word association. Usually when it’s said with an American accent it ends up sounding more like ih instead of uh
😀😉, give the strings a ‘squeeze’ between the nut & the tuning pegs for a ‘bend’ or vibrato 🤣. But seriously, I feel the ‘classical vibrato’ works better for acoustic instruments anyway😎👍
