Aaron Rogers was a great individual player, but he for sure was holding the team of the Packers back. As a life long packer fan, I was soooo happy to see him leave.
I fully believe Rodgers was holding the Packers back. He was incredible as an individual player (regular season anyway), but he was playing to be MVP, not to take the team to the SB. I agree with Brockman that Rodgers held the Packers back. He improvised a lot and didn't want to run the offense...
risk averse. No risk it, no biscuit
Brockman’s performance today will be remembered for generations
lmfao Now that is the biggest overreaction yet
The DW4 is arguably up there with the Hershel Walker trade. Only a few more years will tell for sure.
"Yeah how did he do in the playoffs? STUNK!" brilliant as always Chris lol
What’s the Christmas music in the distant background?
Hot take: Texans might go on a 2019 Titans or 2021 Bengals run. They have a good shot at upsetting the 1 seed Ravens. This team is gonna be super bowl contenders for years to come.
lol no they dont
You're probably right. Even if they do lose in the next round or two, everyone is realizing this team is young, talent, hungry and well coached. It's amazing how fast this franchise went from a joke to serious as a heart attack.
What about 2010 Packers? Would you go that far?
All shanahan’s former coaches getting this recognition and awards, and shanahan has yet to win coach of the year
Flacco was NOT the problem Saturday night. He did not have a moment's peace. Seriously.
Plenty of peace after those pick 6s because it was over
In order to go deeper into the long, cold, hard portion of the season...Miami needs a Csonka.
HERE WE GO
Aaron Rogers was a great individual player, but he for sure was holding the team of the Packers back. As a life long packer fan, I was soooo happy to see him leave.
I can’t wait to not hear his opinions anymore.
I fully believe Rodgers was holding the Packers back. He was incredible as an individual player (regular season anyway), but he was playing to be MVP, not to take the team to the SB. He didn't buy into LaFleur's offense so it didn't work. He didn't want to be the old guy in the locker room where he didn't/couldn't/wouldn't trust his young receivers.
He just wasn't right for the new system so yeah, he was holding the team back.
All just my uneducated opinion of course.
Highly uneducated. No one values MVPs over championships.
Rodgers went to 3 straight NFC championships, they CANNOT have been "held back" until they do better than that
As the other guy said... 3 NFC championship games is holding them back? They haven't even made it there yet and you act like Love is taking them to the next level lmao.
Rodgers believed his own press.
@@zacharysmith2983 Go to TWO straight NFC championships and what? Nothing to show for it but bad loses and a pouty Rodgers. Got worse every year.
It's like a bad relationship. One party starts pulling away and it's a downward spiral from there.
"Better than that" to me is a team that acts like a team lead by what appears to be an extremely talented QB who wants to be there. They're playing with house money at this point. Extremely successful season win or lose again the 9ers. I'm glad we moved on and excited for the future.
Rogers refused to make the big throws because he was protecting his interception numbers.
I like rich cuz hes positive, but sometimes its annoying. Some of these players/teams/coaches deserve criticism
Agree with Brockman about Rodgers, listen, some athletes are just amazing in the regular season and fold under pressure. It happens in basketball, hockey, baseball and football. Rodgers is one of those guys often times Peyton Manning as well.
Vrabel did put on a cowboy hat during the Oilers Texans game in TN it was not a good look!
36 TDs to 9 INTs is a pretty good ceiling!
He's Dan Marino in the regular season. Nathan Peterman in the playoffs.
As a card carrying Cowboy hater, I LOVE this.
Last week wild card winners predictions:
Brockman: Browns, Chiefs, Bills, Cowboys, Lions and Bucs - 4 right.
Rich: Browns, Chiefs, Bills, Cowboys, Rams and Bucs - 3 right.
Mine: Browns, Dolphins, Steelers, Packers, Lions and Bucs - 3 right.
TJ: Browns, Chiefs, Steelers, Cowboys, Rams and Eagles - 1 right.
4:02 ….insane, just crazy insane….Tua is on the hottest seat as well as X
As soon as the Pack won I knew Chris was going to troll with some version of that Rodgers one. It is hilarious.
- Dak did not reach his ceiling. He's over his ceiling. I didn't expected him to play as good as he did this regular season, but he's not mentally strong enough to deal with elimination rounds. "Hey, you have to win this game RIGHT NOW" - he crumbles.
- McDaniels is king in Miami. He's just too green of a coach and he has a QB that's also too green. Stuff will click the next few seasons.
- Rasheed Rice is the best thing the chiefs have. Don't mean he's great. But with mahomes throwing to him... who knows? He can get 1k probably. Dolphins D at -30 is not a good parameter either.
- the talent the Packers have to waste their franchise QB luck is uncanny. Having Rodgers there for as long as they did and not assembling a team for him like ever is crazy.
- the Packers have a great team but we don't know how the Niners will play at the playoffs. Judging by the past performance of guys like Trent, Warner, Purdy and Kittle they still have a gear to engage. The lions will probably beat whoever goes there
- coach of the year is for the season. But yeah, Demeco is in the mix. How about Dan??
- the browns won't be able to find a trade partner for Watson. But they should keep Flacco.
Brockmans takes are the BEST
All through the season it seemed like Rich was personally offended by the sheer thought of Tomlin fired or traded - now that they have made the playoffs, he says what if "Tomlin shows up in Dallas"... Talk about NFL analysts being "prisoners of the moment"...
Ever since Brockman missed the “everyone good?” I have listened to make sure he hits it. He hasn’t missed since!
as a Dolphins fan I say I am disappointed at never seeing a bona fide TE option nor any boundary receiver options. I think these things are limiting and explain why 2 years in a row our offense gets figured out. now fixing it is not my job and MM has one more year to fix it
Jets get Aaron Rodgers back next year, so my Dolphins will finish third in the division. Uggh.
How about Rich’s disrespect of Texans and Green Bay on Friday? Neither in his Top 10
Lou....ooze....sa....hers 😂😂😂😂😂😂
If Jerry Jones was smart he'd hire Vrabel and this is coming from ravens fans. Vrabel was honestly best coach in afc last 5 years
Same ol cowboys
Them boys are going to the bowl... Next season. Go Pack Go!!
Steelers to Cowboys isn't a stretch. Preston Pearson was a Steeler and Cowboy
Getting ready to watch a clip of Skip getting eviserated by Key and Richard Sherman 💯😃😅😅😁😀😀🤣💯💯💯💯👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Rodgers was a choke artist in the playoffs.
Why would a playoff game effect Coach of the year- a regular season award
It's not an overreaction (Dak) and, as I've been saying, they should be starting Cooper Rush.
It’s coaching and ownership
So is Belicheck gonna get Patricia as his OC. 😮😂
nah the Eagles keep giving him more responsibilities for some reason, next thing you know you might look up and he's gm now
I agree with Brockman about Rodgers. Not an overreaction. And that doesn't mean Rodgers wasn't supremely talented, or that Jordan Love is more so, just that Rodgers wasn't interested in the development of *the team*, which we are now seeing.
I agree with Chris about Rogers. He held back the Packers because to him, it's all about him not the team.
Dak is like Lucy with the football to Cowboys fans’ Charlie Brown once it comes to the playoffs. How many times does he have to let you down before you realize he’s not it?
We’ve realized it long ago but we don’t control the team.
@@cmac9141 But like any time they had a win this year, it was like “We dem Boys!” and they can’t be if Dak is QB and Mike is HC.
@@JoeCoughlin3 every team has annoying fans. The majority of us aren’t like that.
@@JoeCoughlin3 I’m going to support my team and celebrate when they win. But I think I speak for most cowboy fans when I say we know it would take an act of God for this team to win a Super Bowl as currently constructed. I’ve been let down by them for 28 years now, I don’t get too high on them ever.
Rich eisen watched that Kurt Warner Tua breakdown and completely misunderstood what was being said lmao.
I'd rather have Flacco than Watson. The Texans are being slept on, and that D was underrated. Yeah, Flacco made bad throws, but give credit to that D for being where they needed to be to make those pick sixes happen!
If Rodgers wasn't the Jets QB, Rich wouldn't have been so offended by that Aaron Rodgers questions haha
Its so funny listening to this. Dak and these qbs need so much around them, to not even win in the playoffs. Dak has 3 all pro lineman and an all pro wr. That should be more than enough to win
Sometimes in the playoffs you have to win even if you don't get turnovers. The Cowboys really aren't set up to win without them
It is but we are lacking in management to bring the best out of the players or discipline them.
@@garcjr well I mean if that's the case then they need to do whatever they can to find every coordinator, coach, training staff who are some of the best at what they do. Pay them top dollar. It does not affect salary cap. What Dallas is doing is truly shocking. They have, and have had, legit super bowl rosters. They've had one of the best o line since 2017. If they don't figure it out this year, they're truly cursed lol.
@@Nc18554 The problem is beyond the coaches, it's the front office. McCarthy and Dak can go tomorrow but we'll have this same conversation 5+ years from now if the management at the front office is the same.
"Flaccosance" became just flatulence.
Teams with the most rushing yards are 4-0 in the playoffs so far (not including Monday games). Two games had both teams rush for less than 100 yards.
Run the damn ball.
Stop the damn run. Dime packages don’t get it done.
