I love how Bullet is so considerate and makes sure he puts his stick high enough so you don’t have to bend over to grab & throw it! 😂
To get the too big rocks out, I dump the dirt onto a welded steel grid set up on about a 45 degree angle so the rocks roll down to one side and the dirt collects in a heap under the screen. That way it is easy to scoop the rocks up again with the bucket and put them out of the way. If you set it up so you have a long smooth area and start screening the dirt at the end nearest the job, each time the dirt under your screen builds up you move the screen a bit closer to the source and do it all over again. By dumping the dirt onto the screen with the skid steer facing the screen (and the side of your pile) you create a long mound of screened dirt that is easy to scoop up from the end nearest your job and because you are pushing into the pile from one end you will always get a nice big bucket full 🙂
Agreed. I made a soil screening "machine" with 1/2 inch mesh frame on rollers over a box frame. Used pallet wood. Stops at each end to aid screening. Got rid of large stones and organic debris...mixed the screened soil with lime and water in a cement mixer....dumped that manually into a metal duct chute attached to a trolley. Walked backwards around wall as helper dumped buckets of mix into the chute. tamped down. Atulya Bingham (The Mud) adds the water by hose pipe after each layer...which cuts out a lit of mixing work. Great mix...solid as a rock. My building was only 20 foot in diameter....but still a LOT of work. Worth it though. Good luck with this ambitious and worthy build! I envy your amazing team!
Potential Idea: to help prevent ROCK damage, what about making a Dirt Sifter, with hard cloth chicken wire and 1x2's. It would make for an extra step but might prevent the RockStalls.
Yes, I was thinking adding another layer of rebar that would quarter the hole size and prevent larger debris from getting through.
Great idea, I was thinking the same thing. My Dad did that for his garden area.
Better 1 extra step than repairing all the time and risk more damage to the skid steer. 👍🏻
Bullet is certainly an-industrious little dog! He seems so determined to have his sticks noticed and taken. The camera was a good idea. I was so amused by watching him. Y'all are doing a great job on your building and your determination to "keep on keeping on" is an encouragement to me in areas of my own life. As always, I love your humor. God bless
Great video. I love the Bullit cam. Not to add extra steps to the build but have you considered a grizzly. A frame built at an angle with a screen to sift the dirt through… filter out rock and roots. The walls look wonderful. Amazing how much work 5 people and a herd of dogs can complete. Thanks for sharing!
Need a smaller grate on the skid steer because all those big rocks keep going through a smaller great May prevent that
or add a 2nd grate and offset it.
Bullet is so hard working! He has found his purpose in life and I love the camera on him.
Absolutely heartwarming joining in the family working together!
Oh My! What a time to be alive! I will tell my grand kids that I was there to witness the inaugural run of BULLET VISION!
Loving the bullet cam!! 😃 What a good boy. 👍
Yes, Tiny Shiny is awesome….you two are my favorite channels and I only found them because of you! So thanks!
Tiny Shiny Home has been my fave to since they first mentioned them.
Tiny Shiny sift their dirt materials to keep rocks and weeds out. I think you’d have less breakdowns with your wonderful skid steer invention if you followed suit. Loved the great content this week. Thanks
So what happened to Garin and Ellie, and the munchkins?
Oooooooh I see another invention coming to keep the big rocks and roots out
It must be so satisfying to see the wall going up without as much work as previous projects. The fact that you hand built your own bag filling machine is the cherry on top.
Really enjoyed the new perspective of the camera assistant! The modification to the skid steer was genius.
hahaha about the finger-pulling. you made the dad blush. take another piece of that "fencing" to put half way over the first layer and fasten them tight. Loved the camera on Bullet. All he cared about was throwing the stick!
Watching the Bullet-cam and seeing his ears going flip, flip, flip as he ran. SO CUTE. 💕
You might try a screen with smaller holes to prevent the rocks from getting into the screw all together..
Or simply add an extra, smaller net (checken wire or something like that) on top of the existing screen to keep "big tings" in the dirt to get through
It is heartwarming to see how Bree lovingly makes suggestions to Jason. And to see how hard working Jason is, he fits right in with the rest of the fam. Dad is so funny! Pull my finger. lol.
Dad is hilarious! Bullet is awesome at playing speedstick! Great work by everybody!
LOVE the new 'Bullet-cam'! Jared and Bree are really getting a workout in this one! That outdoor tub will definitely come in handy for those muscles 🤭
💪🏻🤓💪🏻😍 Another awesome video! Thank you 😊👍
I'm here for the Bullet cam!! Its amazing!
The Bullet Cam!!! I love it and his ears flopping as he runs!! Tiny Shiny will want a skid stet soon.
The GoPro on Bullet is adorable ❤️
Wow you guys are going like firecrackers on those walls
The dirt is like "Talk about being stuck between a rock & a hard place" :D
one of the better dog cams I have seen in a while.
Tiny Shiny uses a mixer for their dirt too. Loved the doggie cam…..
I just realized. You basically created a skid steer 3D printer. This is so cool.
How fast the wall has gone up. Congratulations. Thank you for your channel. Love and God bless.
the bulletcam was a great idea, he is the fetchinest dog I have ever seen...XD
Hey Gary, Wireless finger pull! Blast 'em once for all of us!
How smart is Bullet putting his stick right where they are about to bag, knowing that when they lift it the’ll fling it for him lol as for the three wee one’s I take it Salsa is the wee rouge leading the other two astray as you’ve never mentioned them chasing car’s before xx
We love the Bullet Cam!
I really enjoyed the music ! Those bags seem to lye more flat and more square .😇
Wow so much progress! Love the branch manager camera! Now we can see how good he keeps an eye on you! Y’all just keep rocking on, that will be up in no time! Take care and blessings!
How fast that went- the wall and the video. It's so interesting to see it going so quickly after watching some of the other builds...(multiple times.) Exciting.
Awesome work on skid loader modification Bryson. What a time saver. Here's to you for your determination to get it 👍
Bullet Cam and the timeout tampers are perfect.
good idea to mark the rebar in the floor, no home alone moment!
Hey my favorite you tube family, Happy Easter to you all Next weekend! Hugs ! Xxx
love the Bullet cam!!!!!!
Great job guys, the garage will be done in no time. Watching all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
Can't wait for the next installment.
Despite the oopses it works 👍 love bullet cam!
I have missed a couple months since they big barn tear down. I was so suprized to see how far along you have gotten on the new barn. I love how the skid steer has sped up the bagging process.
Skid Steer ........ What an Great Investment. I feel like I'm riding on the back of the dog ...... giddy up.
My dad passed back in 2009, so Yes I would pull his finger. I miss that old joke... and him. :) Love your family's bond.
Your team work, ingenuity, humor and facial expressions, to include your smiles are precious inspirational treasures!
Neat idea to make your work easier. You all are my favorite RUclips family
Bullet is such a good boy and it looks like you guys have got this down Pat
I think you are on to something and I appreciate seeing the pits and peaks. Sifting is probably a good idea. You could take the guard off for easier repairs. I like that you damped before you tamped. Maybe damp the sides too? You guys made great progress! Can’t wait for Monday’s podcast 💖
I love the Bullit cam! Has Garren always been there? He fits right in. Broke my leg a year ago March 24. Doing better now. Hardly need a pain pill now, so I think better. My RUclips channels have been such a blessing to me. Don’t tell my other channels but you all are my favorite 🤗
With the new bags being bigger It's gonna be more insulated. That will be really nice.
Love Bullet. I think we all want to play with him
Well done guys xxx Missing all the rest of the family xxxx
I admire that you don’t give up !!!
I feel so athletic on the bullet cam. How about a something to filter the dirt. I've seen something called a grizzly that utilize old fence to remove debris.
I hope this doesn't seem redundant, but what about sifting the dirt (to get the rocks out)Before loading it onto the skidsteer? #JustAThought Looking Great! 👍🤟🤗
Luv the doggy cam.
I'll be saving Wed video with ALL the tips in one spot! 👏👏👏
Love the Dog Cam! Lol
Even though the skid steer hit a few bumps in the road you still made Huge progress! love watching the walls grow!!
Yay! Bullet Cam!!
I love the progress you are making. Can't wait until next time.
Love the dog cam.
😲 OMG! BULLET BODY CAM!!🤯🤪😁🤗
Loving the dog cam! An idea for merch design… “it a doggy dog world” with a drawing from the back of his head looking out.
Love, love, love the Bullet cam!
Wow! Even with the big rocks and all, it's moving rather quickly with your skidsteer add on gizmo. Way to go. Yeah.
Wooohoooooo it's Friday ❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗. After a long week I love to sit down and unwind while watching your vids.
Love the dog cam
Sure am missing Shea and I hope all is well with her. Sending you much love, light and hugs little sister! We miss you!
Great job fam! Love the new bagger and I'm sure you'll get the kinks worked out. I personally would try to sift the dirt/rock thru a sifter like one used in gold operations.
Have a great weekend ❤🤗🙋♀️
Seems like having the safety grid hinged at the top of the bucket would be better than being permanently welded. It would make repairs and clearing jams go much faster. Killer proof of concept tho! 👏👍👌
I wish I could live in one of these houses
Always wish these were longer.
your "SUPERBAGGER 2022" is coming along nicely. Looks like pre-screening the fill will save your equipment and time. Look at Andrew Camarata's rotating screening device that he attached to his skid steer (might be a help). All the best and thanks for having us all along for the adventure.
I love bullet with the Go-Pro, he is the best.
You guys remember that tiny shiny homestead uses a mixture with dirt and cement?
It depends on the soil, I think. Maybe they don't have to add it with their soil. But I sure do hope they didn't just forget.
I see that Tiny Shiny Home tamp the top and then also the sides to "square the bags off"
Fantastically fast building guys. Great job all around. As mentioned by many others maybe the extra step of building a filter for the stones and other debris would make things a lot easier on you and the "skidster."
Loved the Bullet cam. Seeing the world on the "branch managers" level brought the episode to new heights. Great job Bullet for keeping them in line and all the work quality tests of leaving the stick to be found ensuring the bags were inspected before tamping.
Love the bullet cam
oh no thank you i love you all and live to see all you all do
Fantastic job. So quick. Love the color too. Stupid Rocks. Lol
Bullet cam is awesome!
On hot days, I would definately be walking in and out of the out door shower with my clothes on, walking out to sun dry. Keeps ya much cooler! Raised in Miami, did that in our outdoor shower and the garden hose!
Ours wasn't a work of art like yours. Dad installed shower in back yard to wash the sand off after the beach!
Love your family!🥰
Pt a smaller hole wire to stop the rocks
Ditto on building a dirt sifting Grizzly.
Nice Work Looks like you all are continuing to innovate !
Thoughts on making the protection grate on a hinge ,so when you have break down or clogs make it little easier to get in there and repair. Great video
That skid steer is working out awesome great job I can’t get over how You guys have gotten done
You could wire a bit of chicken wire over your existing cattle panel in the skid’s bucket to catch the bigger rocks before they get to become a problem. No prescreening soil necessary. Let the bucket and wire do the work for you.
Dog gone fast as a bullet 😂
To All The Dogs 💞🐾
Love getting a bullet POV!
To strengthen the auger, I welded rebar to the edges of mine. We have very rocky soil and it worked great. 👍 On your invention 🤠
Wow lookin good guys 😀👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great job great show never lets me down
