Stay Swanky My Friends!
I came here for the Gear & Tips, but I left a like even before you startet with it because you casually dropped "97 Honda Magna". Unless you search for this bike, you never hear it in this day and age. I am always happy to hear other people talk about my bike.
Yeah I suppose they are sort of a forgotten model now aren't they. My dad had 2 or 3 over the years so I grew up around them. Definitely a unique and powerful bike!
I’ve been an ultralight backpacker for decades and now I’m getting into moto camping. You’re video is really good with great info. With that said you could easily shed a crap ton more weight and reduce that load a lot more without sacrificing comfort.
I can vouch for some of the product being good. I purchased the kelty late start 2 tent with the footprint, and absolutely love it. All of my bags are tusk product which i love. I have the same chair and love it! You should check out the firebox stove products. One of my favorite purchases!!!
I have the Olympus bags on my panniers and even those are a pain in the ass to get on and off.
You can get quick disconnect plates for those pilot pannier bags. I don’t have them yet but someday I’ll buy em
camp shoes are definitely a must carry. compression bags, for soft goods, are a nice addition as well. all that gear on the tdub would be like riding with a passenger. great video!
Ha ha yeah I'm really interested to see how the TW adventure goes!
That's awesome brother 👊 great video on your packout and mcn is the best place great guy too
Thanks! Yeah he's really awesome to talk too, lots and lots of great gear knowledge!
Great Video, I’m thinking of getting into Motorcycle Camping and this Video really helps on what I should take along with me. I think I’ll just take a Can of Off for the Mosquitos. Down here in Texas, we also have to worry about Snakes. So I will also be carrying my .22 Mag with Shot-shells for the Snakes and Hollow-points for the bad People. Thanks again for the Video.👍👍
Glad to hear you found it helpful! I hope you enjoy your time in the outdoors and don't have to use your sidearm!
I love moto-camping, but I'm also an avid sea kayaker. Do you have any recommendations for portable sea kayaks that I can fit on my Honda CRF300L Rally?
I've actually been thinking about a portable kayak for years, and a lot more now that I've been camping off the bike. I think I might try out a paddle board since they're essentially all designed to be inflatable, where kayaks seem best made out of injection molded plastic. I'll keep you posted!
A head net for bugs!
😂
Been great to see this channel grow over the past few years. Well done Ben 👍🏻
Thanks man, I really appreciate that! Watching this after it was done made me think how much my videos have changed over the years too actually.
@@SwankyCatProductions I would start my own channel but not sure people would want to see a 47 year fat plumber touring around Europe lol
Well I just bought it the Tenere 700 after your review and many others the klr was no longer in my sights…
