Dave’s solo at the end is probably my favorite by him. Fits the song so well. I’m gonna be 60 years old and I listen to this album almost every day. One of the best metal albums of all time imo. Great reaction!
i loved that bass line since this came out, i actually learnt it a few months ago, say 90% of it? and yes it is hard! they say you can't play it without a plectrum too but i do, ie, i use my two fingers to pick the strings, took a while to get to tempo though! hard song but so good, also when you said he could have been boring and done one note repeating, i thought wait till i get to when he does that because that's another great part!
Wow Mike,....you're starting to go deep into their catalog. This album was my entire senior year in high school. Wore out not one but TWO cassettes playing it so much. That's right, I said cassette. This is probably my favorite song but it's barely ahead of Devil's Island. I suppose it really depends on my mood at the time. So epic. So iconic. So macabre. So exactly what every metal band was trying to do at the time. Dave did it the best IMO.
Watching a producer listen to this, I am quite proud to see that the bass line was this first thing you recognized. That bass line has mesmerized me, for years.
Cool to see you're still digging Megadeth :-) When I seen it was My Last Words I was like: Yea, he'll pick up on that funky bass riff. Another awesome track off this same album is Bad Omen.
Best Album. Best song. Best solo. Best Guitarist (and drummer Gar ROCKED). So Far So Good was awesome too and then there's the Iconic Rust.... OI saw Metallica 3 more times than Megadeth but Mustaine was (and is) on his ownnnnn level....Love your reaction too man! God bless!
Mike, I've absolutely loved watching you become a genuine fan of Megadeth. You oughta check out Liar by Megadeth. It might actually be the first diss rap. Yes, Dave raps a bit in the song lol. If you want another hidden gem that's more melodic by them check out Mary Jane.
The latter half has a melody similar to “straight up” by Paula Abdul. This proves she was a metal head, as this came out in 1986 and “straight up” was two or three years later!

Till this date. Best Mustaine solo
This is the MOST underrated Megadeth song of all time!!!
For me it’s second to only Good Mourning/Black Friday. My top 8 Deth songs are on this album.
At 35 years old I finally have the refined musical taste to appreciate and LOVE MEGADETH! So glad they're getting the due they deserve, thanks Mike!
Same exact thing bud
They’re amazingly insane
Had that since 1990, when i was 9 :)

The early Megadeth stay my favorite metal music, this fucking perfect mastery of chaos, still incredible today.

Absolutely my favorite Megadeth song of all time.
I’m glad you picked out the bassline in particular. It’s so badass.

Dave Ellefson once said he used a pick because thats the only way he could keep up with the guitarists lol.

You're a fresh air of happiness. Always great to see your reacts. Please react to "Korn - Insane". Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹
Hetfield on vocals and you have another kill'em all track
daves solo in this song tops all of his other solos, atleast in my opinion. daves holy wars solo was good but this. this is just something special
When Yngwie steal your solo (rising force), you can say it’s a solid one!
Should definitely check out some rob zombie!
