Nice video. My husband is offered a job in Fort McMurray and we are planning to move there. Could you please compare the weather in Edmonton for example and your city?Is it much colder ? I can see snow - is it May on the video? Thanks in advance.
Lol the weather is about the same as Edmonton not much difference sometimes Edmonton is much colder because it is so open . Snow in May can happen but it is rare the snow is mostly gone by April but we usually get a bit around the 21 of April it could all be gone then wham but it only lasts for that day or maybe two . . Fort McMurray is a beautiful place it’s got what you need but not really a lot to choose from for shopping.

@@hannaokopna9589 you will be surprised you may have more there then here we only have a Canadian tire and a hateful Walmart to shop at a new dollar store where everything is a lot more then a dollar , then we have the grocery stores 3 Save on foods located at different parts of the city , 1 superstore downtown , 1 independent grocery store located in timberlea and 2 Sobeys stores one in Thickwood and one downtown and in the mall a couple of clothing stores and a few little shops I go to the mall about 1 a year if that I usually shop in Edmonton . So you may have more then we do for shopping lol
it is not so bad, you know).In our town, we have only a Co-op store,dollar store and a few small shops like jewelry and appliance, furniture.But we have a neighbor town just 12km driving and there can tire and superstore ,wallmart and 1 mall I haven't been there yet.The most important thing for me is decent schools for my children, affordable housing and high wages.And yes, I be read the city has high crime level. How bad is it in reality?
It not a bad place but then again I am bias lol I have lived here for 40 plus years it’s home can be very cold in the winter but very hot in the summer times also it is very expensive to live here not much shopping
