Exactly!! During the premiere of season seven, Garcelle had been a host for not even two minutes and I thought she fit perfectly! She has such good rapport with the other ladies and fell into the perfect position. Loni’s a great moderator but it’s nice to have Garcelle there too who also pushes the conversations in certain directions!
Right!!!!! She fits in so well with the spirit of this show like the perfect puzzle. It also baffles me why she wasn't a regular co-host earlier. To be honest I feel like Garcelle could've had Amanda's spot back then. Plus if that happened then both Garcelle and Tamera could've had more moments together on the show. 😊

Can't lie. I did the on again/off again thing for about 4 years. While we were never horrible people to and for each other, we just never had been able to find that specific missing ingredient to solidify it for us, no matter what individual growth we went through for close to half a decade. Sometimes, it's just not meant to be. And that's OK.

@@jacklinerojo2708 I would definitely give it a chance if I felt like I could look pass what happened. I feel like sometimes people try to get back together with their exes, but hold onto the grudges or the pain that happened before. If I’m willing to get back with an ex I feel like I would have to make peace with whatever happened so it doesn’t come up in arguments or even reflect new situations that could happen. You won’t forget what happened or might not fully forgive it, but you can’t hold onto the past to bring it into your future with them if that’s what you ultimately want.

The new setup is nice, truly, but I miss the table. Even without an audience I would like to see The Real table again. Idk why, maybe because they had it from the get, I just miss seeing the old setup even though they would change the background.

I’m married to my first love after being married with one child. That marriage ended for good reasons. Later on I reconnected with my first love that was a painful breakup but we were teenagers and young adults during that time. We now have two more children and we are very happy. It is possible. Cheating is a deal breaker for me but that wasn’t our case so it worked. Seems like destiny brought us back together after so many years of not communicating.

Ya’ll, I’m going through a breakup with my now ex bf of 5 years and it was for several reasons that I don’t want to go into details. But the first couple days of our breakup, we were texting because at that time I still loved him and he ended up telling me that to spend some time to think if you want us to get back together again; I was the one that break it off but for reasons that I really don’t want to recall. I did not cheat, just wanted to let that out. But during that three day period, I went to talk to my friend about the whole situation….and guess what? I realized that I disregarding things he had said to me as light but actually were grand and they were horrible things. He is getting help but I don’t feel like I would ever find that love that I had for him once again. It’s sad but true. This is why I love this show because it makes me feel included. Even though, I’m not virtually there, it helps me a lot. Thank you girls! So happy to see you all in one room again! And congratulations Jeannie! I’m sooooo happy for you and jeezy! You are going to be such an amazing mama, I just know it! 🎉♥️

One of my best friends had broken up with her high school boyfriend, and then 8 years later they ran into each other, and they're happily married now with two kids. It was just a case of not being mature enough, and ready for marriage life, and going off to schools and adulthood. No animosity in their break up, just college far away from each other. With Jen and Ben, they've been very consistent over the years (even when they had other partners) that the reason they broke up was not becuase of lack of love for each other but rather "outside" influences.
They're adamant in pointing out how much being in tabloids affected their relationship. I think this is not emphasized enough because I dont think people fully understands how different it was during the early 2000s. I mean, we see how Britney's life and career was ruined by the press. Its the same way for Ben and Jen's relationship but they stopped before their careers completely flunk. I mean, if Gigli was any indication, they were spiraling down at least professionlly. Having said that, personally, I really think that they broke up for their careers which is why over the years, they've always been very vocal about being happy for each other's individual success. Their relationship was sacrificed in order to have the careers theyve made for themselves over the years.
Many many years later, after all the professional accolades they both earned, perhaps both of them know that that is not what life is about. I think where they're at right now is something that has crossed their minds all these years thet just never acted on it for all the reasons that Adrienne, Garcelle and Jeannie mentioned. Going back to an ex is in fact a dangerous thing but I think its also somewhat admirable that Bennifer is doing what no one else would dare do. I think they're at a point in their lives where they wouldn't want to live a life full of "what ifs". They are the personification of, "Its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

Here’s my two cents. In my opinion the NUMBER ONE rule about getting back with your EX is DON’T PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF. Don’t go off into the sunset thinking about the people you once used to be. I think that the issue with Jen and Ben was that their breakup was mostly due to outside pressure. That Bennifer era of tabloid culture was insane. And I think that it was too much for him. He was used to being a media darling, not the butt of jokes. It also didn't help that they did two awful movies together. It seemed like everything he had built as a serious actor/screenwriter/director was destroyed with the media circus.
Now that they are in a different time in their careers, and that era of media has subsided, it makes sense that they can give it another go. Especially, if they never wanted to break up in the first place.
