    Your review of this product was spot on for what it was designed for. The nice thing about these indoor Grill/Griddles is that you can sear at a very high heat without totally smoking up your kitchen. When I bring my cast iron skillet up to 500 deg. to sear my meat, (necessary for a crispy crust and pink interior) my whole kitchen fills with smoke and my wife gets mad. 😡😱 I have Ninja's higher end version of this unit that also has the powered Grill/Griddle, but is a 7 in 1 multi purpose air fryer as well. (the IG651) I can sear my steaks and burgers now without smoking up the kitchen like the cast iron does. My steaks and burgers are super delicious and the wife remains happy. 🥰😇

      Thanks so much for watching and your additional comments here!! Agreed on the smoke - my smoke detectors are SO sensitive and this doesn't set them off!

    That's not smoke, that's steam...smoke would be black and come from an actual flame.

      Smoke comes from oil molecules breaking down from high heat. Flame is irrelevant. It's smoke. Trick for smokeless is to use a high smoke point oil.

    Looks good man, doesn't seem like a bad product for $100. Looks nicer than similar products and seems much easier to clean.

    I liked the old George Foreman grill better, but sadly mine has finally seen better days. It can cook BOTH sides at the same time, so is twice as fast, and it was angled so the grease all slid away into the catch tray. They still make them, but not like they used to :(

      The only thing I don’t like about the George foremen grill is that outside of cooking burgers, the food doesn’t really come out great due to the grill steaming the food

      @@miguelrobb5719 That's exactly WHY I used to like the George Foreman, because I don't like black grill marks (some studies show they're cancerous) and I used the grill A LOT so I wanted to avoid charring anything.

    I have a lodge cast iron grill pan that literally does the same thing

      Your cast iron pan is smokeless?

    • @miguelrobb5719
      @miguelrobb5719 6 дней назад

      Your smokeless feature isn’t that much better than my cast iron. I will admit though. I am a sucker for kitchen gadgets. The cast iron is pretty much for those that don’t want to spend the extra money to buy these gadgets if they already own them. I do like the massive cooking surface that these gadgets has especially if you switch to the griddle pan attachment. I’m currently cooking with a George Foreman grill and it kinda sucks when it comes to cooking anything unrelated to burgers. I might have been a little too harsh on these cooking gadgets recently.
