I turn on a video and see Bernal pushing the pace on a mountain road. Life is beautiful again.

Nice to see Carapaz win again. I haven’t seen him get a result since joining EF. I’d never heard of this Lipowitz guy but he looks like a serious talent.

What a ride by Lipowitz! Great to finally see a German with the best climbers. Maybe he even had a chance for the yellow jersey if he went earlier. I look forward to see him in the Giro.

Geez Hindley looked super strong in Tirreno and now he’s really lost some form. Hopefully he prepares correctly for the Tour

Seeing as BORA had two in the top 3 it night be fair to say he was playing the team mate role here.

How Aleksandr Vlasov must have felt that he let his German teammate Lipowitz go for the stage and the general classification. If he had stayed with the Russian, he would possibly be the overall leader...
I never believed that Carapaz would be in a position to win the stage because of what he showed this year. I hope it will be a constant from now on. Carlos Rodríguez confirms that he just had a bad start to the season. He is a non-explosive runner but very regular. Ilan Van Wilder confirming his climbing and possible boss abilities in Quick Step.
    UAE the usual...
    Pogačar- dependent in important races.

I think Lipowitz could be the leader of the race too, if he attacks 200-300 meter before.

@@ReAIex17 It may be that he went out to mark Carapaz because the Ecuadorian is brave but he has not had the level. And then Vlasov did not feel the strength to reach his companion. And they gave him permission but very late. We will have to look for interviews.

In my opinion lipowitz was the strongest rider but he has no experience in such big races and don't know what he is able to do. Nevertheless bravo Carapaz

Lipovitz's 'Froome/Wiggins' moment. Clearly stronger on the day than Carapaz (congratulations nonetheless) but simply not allowed to follow RC when he made his break.
Instead he floated in no-man's land neither being in direct support of Vlasov nor being allowed to chase RC.
Think he'd have won the stage comfortably had he been allowed to follow earlier/immediately.
    Tactical loss by BH. 🤔

Sneaky Billy Carapaz. Since that 2019 Giro you never know when he will strike. Except when Pogi is there. He cannot do nothin' against him.

Grande UAE, grandi Ayuso & Co. E questi dovrebbero supportare Tadey al Giro?
Sono dei dilettanti, al massimo. Ayuso fa pena a vederlo.. proprio in salita.

  • @xXpenetratorXx

Yates still out of form. Team UAE as usual, good at losing the race leader's jersey. UAE climber blowing up on climbs (McNulty? Felix?). Ayuso either is overraced or overhyped. He wasn't the Ayuso who gapped Remco last year at the Tour de Suisse. And this isn't even the Tour de France, how can he replace Pogi when he blows up left and right on important race days.

    • @nelly-gu2qq

I mean..he is still young. He has potential. But to replace pogacar?. Lol only in his wet dreams.
