Thank you. I watched this video many times before ordering & replacing the parts for my wife's pink Le Max 2 with a jumpy camera. I ordered the display also just in case, although I ended up not needing it! I used 2 2" dent pullers, a 875°F cordless heat gun, & no feminine fingernails. It took a quarter of the time that it took miss Baig to get the display off. I just attached the dent pullers, heated up the top & sides of the phone, pulled on the handles, & used a plastic pry tool to split it in half. 1 thing that is missing is the reassembly...surprisingly it closed up easily & stuck together fine.
Is the camera shutter shifting front and back and is this software issue (focus shifting/jumping) or a hardware problem . Also please could you tell how much does the parts as display , the camera would cost and the repairing of power button cost , the power button has gone in not getting clicked Thank you in advance
Where did you order that battery for replacement ? Is the battery you replaced is 4000maH or higher than that ? If it is online, pls let me send the link.

My battery is bulging after 2 yrs of continual use pushing the screen up. Watching this video gives me heartburn. No way in hell am I removing 40 million teeny tiny screws then all that other intricate stuff. So glad my next phone will have a removable battery and I payed the same price $99 Umidigi A5 pro. Just wish it had the EUI interface.
Haha I just tried this and used the plastic picks that came with the new battery. I did not realise I had to only let them go like 1mm under the sides. I got it off and thought wow that was easy... turns out I completely munted my screen lol. $35 and a new screen later...

More of settings issues -- note, all LEECO buttons function are reconfigurable. Meaning you can assign any function to any button. I assigned my torch function to the middle button, since it looks like a torch. I just press and hold for about 3s to switch On and Off. Your torch button might be assigned by default to perhaps the homescreen or back button, however you can change it if you wish.

I had problems from the beginning on with this Phone. Get it out of the box, started it and created a fingerprint during initializing. The fingerprint sensors worked 4 hours, then it stopped completly in due to damage. Display is also damaged with artifacts, battery drain is actually horrible. if I use it for pokemon go the battery is empty in 2 hours. nice phone. It doesn't wonder that the company is insolvency and disbanded :-)

On my Le Max 2 (X829), I need to replace the usb port, and the battery. After a usb cigarette charger shorted out in my vehicle while my Max2 was plugged in, the usb cable port fused in the phone! It still charges, but is finicky, and it now has short battery life (maybe 4-6hrs screen time) . Is it necessary to remove the motherboard, or can I just remove the usb port module & battery without removing the motherboard?

I have the same issue, same story. To repair it, I bought new sim card readers, but just to open up the phone seems very difficult, and I worry that I'll never get it back together again.
It's easy on iPhones to 😉 But I've changed the screen on my Redmi Note 5 and I had to love all my phone's components on the new screen (battery, motherboard, Speakers, vibrator etc...) it's so long lol

Instead of the heat gun, just try running a VR app for five minutes. That makes it super hot.

Try ordering for the repair tools first and follow discrete guildelines or take it to a local repair shop if you have no idea how to work on a device
