In this hiking adventure me and my good friend Kara do the Black Butte Summit in the snow from the bottom trail head. Total mileage is 9.8 miles with about 3400 feet of Elevation gain.
Wow, absolutely beautiful hike and views...even the doggos looked like they were having a blast! Bet you didn't even get a drop of rain...boo on those flies...lol

Too bad you didn’t have that camera on a slow rotating stand . You could’ve let it go on the summit for hours.we would all have watched and enjoyed! That was beautiful! 👍👍
Hey, if you need hiking partners, I'll drive down from Seattle if my work schedule permits. I'd love to do some hikes / snowshoe trips with you. I'm also going to start learning to X county / back county ski, so in a couple of years, I'll be up for that! LoL

I love the Black Butte area. Nice hike! You guys did some elevation gain! Summit was amazing !
Yeah I love east that whole area around the metolious is great I lived there for a summer when I was younger and I just keep going back

I climbed the tower too it was closed but it was way too windy to film.
