Literally just saw these girls last night and they hit different in person. By that I mean they are somehow even more amazing when you see them live. All XG members are legit good to amazing in some combination of singing and rapping, and the most vigorous testing (you’ll see in Xtra Xtra) was for dance skills, so they all have that.

Their company surprised XG by adding their family in the winter with out you MV i found XG two Summers ago in late August and they were my most listened to group in that year. I love XG from there in but xtra xtra shows them their story and everything totally worth a watch. Also the vox(vocals)/moves(dance)/xyphers(raps) are all good too
Their main creative director and producer is the CEO of XGLAX, Simon. You will often see him credited as Jakops, his producer name. Simon is the brain behind XG. He is half Korean/half Japanese and was once a K-pop idol himself. He debuted in a group called DMNT but they were unlucky for several reasons and never really took off the way they could have. That being said Simon truly took everything he could from the experience because then he came up with the idea for XG and look at us now. I can't stress enough how much Simon has a hand in everything about the group, he personally ran the training program and picked these seven members himself. He produced some of XG's songs years before the group even debuted. The documentary will show it all. If you watch it, I'll definitely re-watch it with you. One thing I liked about them though is that Simon often asks the girls for their input and really makes an effort to make sure that they are actively participating in their own careers. It's not like he just locks himself in a room, produces a song, and then says "Here do that." The girls have a say and I think that that's really important! I actually just came back from their concert in Duluth, GA tonight and it was AMAZING. I'm so happy I made the last-minute decision to go. The arena wasn't massive considering it's only their first tour and that made me love it even more. Alphaz energy was incredible, it felt cozy like we were all just friends enjoying a fantastic show. The girls didn't miss a beat or a note and the times they stopped to interact with the audience, they were so full of energy and joy. They were adorable while interacting with the crowd. I would absolutely see them again if I could. Side note: I saw that person who commented on your last XG video that was rude about you talking. I honestly encourage you to ignore these people. I watch a LOT of reaction videos and a wide variety of reaction content and EVERY creator I watch has had entitled idiots telling them they pause too much, they talk too much etc etc. You'll never please everyone so just be yourself. Personally, I've seen tons of reactors who talk WAY more than you and pause 5x as much. You're doing great honestly!!! And your excitement is infectious :)

They have long documentary videos of them as trainees and they went THROUGH IT. It was brutal there is no other way to describe it. Years of intense focus without any glamour or fluff just these young girls getting put through the wringer. Not all of them made it. There are a couple that do have careers outside of XG. I follow Airi Kamiya her music is awesome and I hope she opens for XG someday.

Their label is XGALX, but it was originally called XGalaxyX, and they shortened it to XGALX. I just think they took the alien concept from the fact they come from an XGalaxyX along with the fact they're just different

He basically trained like them like Olympic athletes. 😂 He is still appear in behind the scenes video supporting them. XG even admitted that he is like a father figure. Their training consists of vocal, rap, and dance lessons. Also, not to mention examinations, stamina exercises, and live underground performances. 😃 Check out their live performances on their New DNA Showcase in Japan 2023. This is their first official live concert performance in their homeland country after they made their debut in 2022. Yes, Simon was also there sitting among them watching them perform like a proud father. 😂

I first discovered them when I stumbled upon their pre-debut dance video Move #1 where they were dancing like female Jabawockeez. I legit thought they were a professional dance crew. Then I saw their Winter Without You live version on the First Take and I was like, wait a minute, so they're a dance crew that can sing. I will put it in age order from oldest to youngest. 15:30 - Chisa (Sub-Leader, Main Vocalist, Japanese, She often gets those Ariana comparisons so that made me laugh, She's acted before. As sub-leader she helps Jurin a lot, especially with keeping the group's mood positive when Jurin isn't feeling as up to it.) 15:19 - Hinata (Main Dancer, Main Vocalist, Half-Korean/Half-Japanese, At first she didn't get a lot of lines because she was shy and didn't feel confident in her English skills, At the concert tonight she had a line she had to say while interacting with the audience and she messed it up like 4 times and was blushing so hard it was super cute but she's definitely improved immensely since their debut and gets more lines now.) 17:18 - Jurin (Leader, Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, Sub-Vocalist, Japanese, Jurin is said to learn their choreography the fastest often learning them first and teaching the other girls. She's also helped choreograph some stuff before but I'm not sure what exactly. She's one of the strongest dancers in the group along with Cocona and Hinata. OK so you’ve seen some of their music videos, a performance video, and now a first take video, but IMO you should really watch an XG dance practice video (fixed version) to truly get an understanding of their dancing skills and synchronicity. Their company surprised XG by adding their family in the winter with out you MV i found XG two Summers ago in late August and they were my most listened to group in that year. I love XG from there in but xtra xtra shows them their story and everything totally worth a watch. Also the vox(vocals)/moves(dance)/xyphers(raps) are all good too

Their main creative director and producer is the CEO of XGLAX, Simon. You will often see him credited as Jakops, his producer name. Simon is the brain behind XG. He is half Korean/half Japanese and was once a K-pop idol himself. He debuted in a group called DMNT but they were unlucky for several reasons and never really took off the way they could have. That being said Simon truly took everything he could from the experience because then he came up with the idea for XG and look at us now. I can't stress enough how much Simon has a hand in everything about the group, he personally ran the training program and picked these seven members himself. He produced some of XG's songs years before the group even debuted. The documentary will show it all. If you watch it, I'll definitely re-watch it with you. One thing I liked about them though is that Simon often asks the girls for their input and really makes an effort to make sure that they are actively participating in their own careers. It's not like he just locks himself in a room, produces a song, and then says "Here do that." The girls have a say and I think that that's really important!
I actually just came back from their concert in Duluth, GA tonight and it was AMAZING. I'm so happy I made the last-minute decision to go. The arena wasn't massive considering it's only their first tour and that made me love it even more. Alphaz energy was incredible, it felt cozy like we were all just friends enjoying a fantastic show. The girls didn't miss a beat or a note and the times they stopped to interact with the audience, they were so full of energy and joy. They were adorable while interacting with the crowd. I would absolutely see them again if I could.
Side note: I saw that person who commented on your last XG video that was rude about you talking. I honestly encourage you to ignore these people. I watch a LOT of reaction videos and a wide variety of reaction content and EVERY creator I watch has had entitled idiots telling them they pause too much, they talk too much etc etc. You'll never please everyone so just be yourself. Personally, I've seen tons of reactors who talk WAY more than you and pause 5x as much. You're doing great honestly!!! And your excitement is infectious :)

They have long documentary videos of them as trainees and they went THROUGH IT. It was brutal there is no other way to describe it. Years of intense focus without any glamour or fluff just these young girls getting put through the wringer. Not all of them made it. There are a couple that do have careers outside of XG. I follow Airi Kamiya her music is awesome and I hope she opens for XG someday.

@@Melayshaaa They spend about 5 years training under the man name Simon Jakops. He had a cameo appearance at the beginning of their Woke Up music video. He basically trained like them like Olympic athletes. 😂 He is still appear in behind the scenes video supporting them. XG even admitted that he is like a father figure. Their training consists of vocal, rap, and dance lessons. Also, not to mention examinations, stamina exercises, and live underground performances. 😃
Check out their live performances on their New DNA Showcase in Japan 2023. This is their first official live concert performance in their homeland country after they made their debut in 2022. Yes, Simon was also there sitting among them watching them perform like a proud father. 😂

I first discovered them when I stumbled upon their pre-debut dance video Move #1 where they were dancing like female Jabawockeez. I legit thought they were a professional dance crew. Then I saw their Winter Without You live version on the First Take and I was like, wait a minute, so they're a dance crew that can sing. Then I saw their Woke Up mv were they were all rapping and my mind was just hella blown and confused from there

What I like the most is their videos showcase their talents in singing, rapping, and dancing, but you are spot on that the directing, choreography, costumes, lighting, everything is just so professional. 15:30 - Chisa (Sub-Leader, Main Vocalist, Japanese, She often gets those Ariana comparisons so that made me laugh, She's acted before. As sub-leader she helps Jurin a lot, especially with keeping the group's mood positive when Jurin isn't feeling as up to it.)
15:19 - Hinata (Main Dancer, Main Vocalist, Half-Korean/Half-Japanese, At first she didn't get a lot of lines because she was shy and didn't feel confident in her English skills, At the concert tonight she had a line she had to say while interacting with the audience and she messed it up like 4 times and was blushing so hard it was super cute but she's definitely improved immensely since their debut and gets more lines now.)
17:18 - Jurin (Leader, Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, Sub-Vocalist, Japanese, Jurin is said to learn their choreography the fastest often learning them first and teaching the other girls. She's also helped choreograph some stuff before but I'm not sure what exactly. She's one of the strongest dancers in the group along with Cocona and Hinata. She modeled before training for XG and was a professional snowboarder by the age of 12.)
16:53 - Harvey (Main Rapper, Sub-Vocalist, Half-Japanese/Half-Australian, Harvey has the most unique and memorable tone of the group. She and Jurin have known each other since they were really young and they are super close with each other. Their duo name is Jurvey. Her birth name is Amy Jannet Harvey so sometimes you might hear the other members call her Amy.)
*Side note: Chisa and Hinata are not that much older than Jurin, they were all born in 2002. Hinata and Jurin are only 8 days apart and Chisa is older than both of them by about 6 months. Harvey is the last of the 2002 line being born in December.)
18:04 Juria - (Main Vocalist, Japanese, She was in a couple other smaller idol groups before training for XG. She struggled the most in the training camp often being rated much lower than a lot of the other members, especially in dancing but her determination and drive were incredible and she put in the work to be able to become the amazing vocalist and dancer she is today. Watching her now you wouldn't ever believe she used to score low for dancing. I admire her a lot, love that she never gave up! Born in 2004.)
17:03 - Maya (Lead Vocalist, Main Rapper, Japanese, Maya has surprised people the most I think. All the girls are all-rounders but I think people probably say it about Maya the most. She debuted so strongly as a rapper, at first I don't think many people realized she was a vocalist too but now she gets a lot of singing parts like here in Winter Without You and as you can hear, she's phenomenal. She's also an incredibly strong dancer. Maya went to an international school and spoke English there a lot so she speaks it the most fluently out of all the members in the group. I would say she's probably the most energetic and outgoing. Born in 2005. She's part of the maknae line.)
17:28 - Cocona (Main Rapper, Japanese, Cocona is the maknae which in Korean means "youngest." She's about four months younger than Maya, also born in 2005. She's known as the "hip-hop maknae" as she loves hip-hop and r&b and wants to become a top world rapper. She's quieter like Hinata but she doesn't show her emotions as easily as some of the other members. She and Maya have been friends since they were kids. She went viral for her rapping with their Galz Xypher.)
While XG is a group of all-rounders they did debut with two distinct sub-groups. There is the Vocal line and there is the Rap Line. Jurin, Harvey, Maya, and Cocona are all part of the rap line. Chisa, Juria and HInata are all part of the vocal line. It's relevant because they often release sub-group content on their RUclips. The rappers have the XG Tapes which are short verses showcasing each rapper's ability and flow. The vocalists have the XG Vox videos, which consist of song covers and they showcase each member's individual vocal ability. I highly recommend checking those out next! OK so you’ve seen some of their music videos, a performance video, and now a first take video, but IMO you should really watch an XG dance practice video (fixed version) to truly get an understanding of their dancing skills and synchronicity.
