Love this video -- nobody says WHEN Uber/Lyft have price increases. Is it after midnight or when Las Vegas has crowds?
TO THE NEW FIRST TIMERS I tell people around me going to Vegas for the first time I tell em take a few weeks before you go maybe 1 mos and do some walking in your neighborhood or park . When you see this video you see the big casinos but when you are at NY NY and go to Ceasar's It is like 2 miles down the rd with the the walking and looks like 10 min walk if that lol not to mention in out of one casino to get to the street ex Bellagio. You will walk so much and being first time you are excited and you walk . Comfy shoes but also the bus or deuce they call it is great . You can get 3 day ticket or 1 day ticket and they go up n down all day night . I recommend taking the bus from Mirage to Luxor etc. I still use the bus and in a week time being there I still walked 38.3 miles in Dec . You book a room at the venetian or mirage any of them lol your room is 10 min from the front desk . For my drinkers I take advantage of Fat Tuesdays because souvenier cup whatever size you want you pay half refills and that alone can save you money on Margaritas and I make sure I get mine first day there lol. Some exhibits have package options meaning titanic exhibit and bodies can be one low price then paying for the 2 separate . shark aquarium in Mandalay , CSI at MGM , roller coaster in NY NY , Titanic in Luxor etc.. Plenty of things to do n see . M&M huge store like 4 stories high and a nice Hershey store too. Bellagio fountains is a must but the conservatory is like no other and by the way Wynn has a nice set up also and they also do a fountain show in front of the hotel and yea it is not as big as Bellagio but no one mentions it and when you go by the Venetian you need to go in and look inside .Take advantage of the Volcano at Mirage when we can because it will be gone before we know it and starts every hr at 8 pm Just walking the hotels on the strip n seeing em is a great time ..sorry for the ramble just counting the days to Vegas in June for 10 days .. Also when you book your room a lot of hotels offer a shuttle bus to and back to air port . You land go to hotel shuttle service .When leaving hotel shuttle to airport just an option for people is all . Yes there is a fee but you get to n from which is good and you can see this if you book on Expedia .
I rode the rollercoaster at NYNY a couple of years ago, never again. I hollered til I had nothing left 🤣🤣🤣
Don't make the mistake I did on my first trip when I wore new shoes that I hadn't broken in yet - while comfortable at the store, they gave me a nasty blister after Day 1 of my trip
Ouch! Yeah brand new shoes need to be broken into first for sure. Vegas blocks are not kind on the feet.
I did that in 1991. Knew better after that. You can wear newer shoes as long as you have them broken in and are comfortable for distances.
Other tips are pack clothes for most kinds of weather regardless of when you’re going. Sure, short sleeves and light clothes will be fine for afternoons in the summer, but you are going to want a bit more at night. 85-90 at night out in Vegas is colder than you think; closer to 50’s and 60’s in most if the US thanks to the lack of humidity and, especially the wind; Vegas is windier than Chicago. Have layers handy.
@@mmasque2052 I used to live in San Francisco and we could always spot the tourists wearing short sleeves and shorts in winter - they were usually at the store buying a San Francisco sweatshirt :)
I have 2 new pairs of shoes just for our upcoming trip -- will wear them and break them in 1 week before flying out there!
I did the same thing, my feet were hurting almost the whole trip.
Tanya and Dave hit another one outta the park! Great vid
I'd like to add, everything is "hurry up and wait" Make sure you plan ahead and accordingly. If a show is at 9, try and get there at 830, so make sure dinner is close or you finish in time to get to the NEXT destination on time. A lot of back-timing helps. Just my personal experience.
I haven't been to Las Vegas since January 2015. The Bellagio still had the Christmas decorations in the conservatory which were beautiful!!! Of course the purpose of my trip was to go to see Santana at the House of Blues with my friend from Phoenix. Terrific show and then we rode tripped to California to see the Pacific Ocean!!! My friend was such a great tour guide as it was my first trip to the western US.
I love the vibe of these folks, coolest couple on RUclips for "tour", "in the know", sites like this
Damn! Is this Vegas? Didn’t recognize it because the escalators are actually WORKING! 😂
Oh yes..the shoes. They must be comfortable. Vegas is the king of walking city..you will walk for miles..but that's part of the fun of Vegas..it's not like there's nothing to do while you're moving..😂😂😂😂
Comfortable shoes, you're going to put the steps in even with using the trams. I had to laugh at my daughter every time she say, it's just over there mom..... one night she requested to go back to the hotel because of sore feet.
I would love to see some of the sites outside of Vegas, but due to advanced glaucoma I can longer drive so I fly in and pretty much stay within the area of my hotel. And I usually travel solo so I stay pretty close to well lighted areas. But I love to travel.
another tip if you are going to a special concert is setting up a Google Alert on that artist, we found out by a news article 3 days before the concert venue notified us that the performer had surgery and would be canceling performances that happened to be when we were going to be there. It gave us 3 extra days to find an alternative performance by seeing that news article.
Nice. Hope you found a good alternative.
@@TurnItUpWorld Well not really. That was the trip where I met the two of you. We had front row tickets to Carlos Santana and he had heart surgery. We ended up going to Mat Franco and Blue Man Group - both good but I would have rather seen Santana
Coronado cafes Chinese menu is bomb
I'm coming back especially for some great food and fun.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Comfortable shoes are a must..which is why I have Skechers in almost every color
lol Patricia, we agree and don’t blame you for all your Skechers!!
Exactly 10 minutes!!!
Thanks for the reminders.
You're so welcome Yvonne!
Like I always say... even when it's free it ain't cheap.. lol. Especially in Vegas.. 🤑
I learned about Vegas distances last March when I walk from Bellagio to Four Queens on Fremont Street in one night. I want however treated to the most gorgeous Sunrise I've ever seen in my life at daylight.
Love y’all so much! Thank you. We are headed there again but this time we have your tips! Love, Rob & Lori
Great tips, I will be there in April
Still can’t believe I haven’t made it to stage door! Now I need a hot dog. Damn you two.
Thanks for all this content, you are sooooo cool. I'm going to Vegas tomorrow and these videos help out alot for a Vegas noob like me so thanks again.
Thanks for sharing ❤️✨💥👼🏾
Here's a tip for poker players. If you're looking for a cash game (1/2 nlh for example) play at Sahara. No they don't have any crazy bonuses or whatever, but they do have a max $4 rake...so......yeah. It's pretty much the only place I play unless I'm playing tourney's.
Great video guys are they still doing the 24 hour buffets? I used to love those! Helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon is also amazing stopping off at the American Indian museum on the way. Highly recommend
Blueberry Hill is great. Been going for years. Great food and very affordable.
Great informative videos, thank you.
You guys are so darn cute!!! I love it! Gracias for all your info about Las Vegas! 😊
Look nice trip my friend ENJOYED watching here
Full watched
Great video
Gotta get the right info to the nubbies. Great vlog from one of the best adult traveling channels 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Glad you're back, guys! How's your day?
I have been meaning to ask, do y'all live in Las Vegas? I only ask, because you always make videos about the city. Vegas looks like it would be fun to visit.
You guys should check out Jammin On Tie Dye in the arts district. That would make an awesome colorful segment! Thanks for all the tips and fun content. I’m heading to Vegas next week to see Sting!
Excellent video very informative. Thanks for sharing.💙💙💙💙🌎🌎🌎🐈⬛🐈👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you Rosemarie. Thank you for watching!
Actually was expecting yet "another" yawn yawn look at Vegas. As a "local" you did a great job! I disagree with a few things like "eateries", but those things are always highly personal and tough not to be a bit biased. Except for Blueberry Hill! You go that one Spot On!
Blue man group is a good show too & horseshoe has good room towords the fountins too😊
Thanks for the great tips Paula!
Didn’t realize Park MGM was less expensive than the other strip hotels. Wondering if rooms/prkg, etc are worth it
I like that Killers shirt. 👍
❤❤❤
I ❤ The Killers
Can you do a review on yummy Chinatown restaurants on Spring Mountain Rd?
What's a food tour and how do I sign up?
Thank you for all the information about vagus, but you’ve been showing us about Vegas since November, and I’m kind of over it, but I know maybe some people like to see it. I subscribe to this channel because you had an RV and you were traveling, and that’s what I want to see. I’ve been to Vegas, had a great time, didn’t gamble because I’m not a gambler, and wasn’t cheated or anything. I’ll probably never go back so I kind of wanna see the RV side of this channel. I think I’m just gonna step away for a while until you guys get back to camping and RV. Have a great day and God bless you both
If you want to see the RV life check out their other channel on You Tube: Let's Turn It Up World.
That's where their RV life is posted now.
I was just going to comment the same - their other great channel “Let’s Turn It Up World” has all things travel and camping!
You Are Really Beautiful ❤ Thank You For True Tips On Las Vegas . Cheers . 🇨🇦🇺🇸✨🏅☮️🎰🎰🎰🎰
I like Dave in that green hat.
I have a HUGE QUESTION. How do yaull keep you walls from sewating during the cold winter spots you're at, I live in an rv full time for the last 3 years now and each winter, it's the same thing, my bedroom walls just drip water, and even in my ceiling cabinets get soaked, I keep the room warm, this past winter I covered the winders with insulation and it didn't help, I don't know what else, it's so bad I'm getting black mold in my bedroom
It's suppose to say, how do you keep YOUR walls from SWEATING , lol, stupid phone lol
Video idea/request: best graveyard shift deals
For food of course
Sunscreen and water!
Awesome video, are you allowed to take cell phone photos inside the casino!? Thanks 📲📱
Yes
I really enjoyed the video and the music thanks for sharing 🖤🤍😊
Please do a video on people spending crypto in Vegas since the dollar is tanking. A lot of hotels downtown take crypto now. Esp international travelers don't want to convert their currency to US dollars because they lose value. There will be a huge Blockchain event called XRP Vegas at Treasure Island May 5 and 6 and some of us other XRP holders will be having a hang out at El Cortez May 2, 3 and 4. Drop on by. We will be wearing XRP shirts. Lot of fun. El Cortez has free rooms with their Spring Break promo code BTW From April 1 to June 30 on weekdays and free food
What’s the best transportation option to get to our hotels from the airport?
Personally I would say taxis. Everyone rushes to get Uber/Lyft and the wait time can climb.
Taxis will take you straight to the hotel front door, basically. And with a flat rate to boot. Some taxi drivers might even give you their number to call them back for MORE rides, or at least a return trip back to the airport. Good luck.
@@TheVictorCruz thank you for the information.
Like they said in video, depends on time of day and where you are going!
Not sure on strip, but off strip Southpoint and M Resort both have free airport shuttles.
I would say to first timers going to Vegas. Don't rent a car because there is so much to see by just walking you really don't need a car unless you do plan on going off strip. Taxi, city buss or uber will take you wherever your need to go
How's the weather right now? Ill be getting married in 15 days there ❤
Vegas is too expensive for me.
DO NOT GET SICK HERE. I live here. Health"care" is a joke.
I have no desire to go to vegas.
❤❤❤
