Besides the walled city of attack on titan in Noerdlingen, Death city from Soul Eater could be one perhaps an inspiration too. Japanese tourists becoming mangaka go often here ending dazzled into their work.
Such a beautiful place, especially their Christmas themed-area!!! Nice content Wes and hope you and your Ukrainian friend enjoy the sights of Rottenburg!!!
If you are still on Bavaria, i can highly recommend Bamberg, Augsburg and Regensburg all lovely fairytale like cities. Bamberg being the best !!!(not biased bc I live there ;-))
As someone living in not to far away Bamberg. I never heard of that place before my family from Indonesia suggested it. Because for people in the region Rottenburg looks just like any town around here. If you liked Rottenburg you should go visit Bamberg too.
Bamberg was indeed nice, I think it was the largest city in Germany that was not bombed during the war (Rothenburg was!). If you liked Rothenburg, I would recommend Dinkelsbühl, some 50 km south of Rothenburg. You will find vitually no tourists there!
Heya, just a heads up and I get that can be confusing really quickly: Your video title is not correct, you were not, in fact, in Rottenburg am Neckar but in Rothenburg ob der Tauber! Cheers Mate, both are nice cities :)
This town has a lot of japanese tourists and some anime used it as a location, so many signs are in japanese.

Yes we really enjoyed the city😆
Nice video, and I did spot the deliberate mistake! In the opening credits "Rottenburg am Neckar?"
i want to live in rothenburg i love germany
Great video! Note: Schneeball translates to snowball, not flake.
Oh I didn't know that, thanks for the correction!
Road tripped though here last summer from uk on our way down to Switzerland. Had an explore and lunch whilst there. Very beautiful with fond memories.
Greetings from Hong Kong. I like travelling too. It's a nice place. I will go to this place in December too.
That looked so beautiful and quaint….thanks for sharing Wes!😊👍
It was a very beautiful town😆
Excellent video as usual. Looking forward to your Berlin videos, you will enjoy it there

That's interesting because among Japanese Rothenburg is actually one of the most popular places in Germany lol

Rothenburg ob der Tauber appeared as a playable arena in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
Nice video, but the name of this town is not Rottenburg am Neckar, it is Rothenburg ob der Tauber 😊
You're right, stimmt Chris. Actually there are several Rothenburg in Germany, as well as Rotenburg and Rottenburg.
Hey, Wes. I was born in Wurzburg but we left when I was a child and I’ve never seen it. 😘
Thanks!
Great tour. Thx.
You probably get inundated with travel suggestions, but New England in October is beautiful!
It's been a while since I went to the States last time so I should probably visit again haha
nice presentation
May I know how to take by train to this Rothenburg ? Does it open on Sat & Sun this place?
Wonderful ❤
Looks like something out of the Brothers Grimm.
I've never watched the movie but maybe I should watch it haha
How did you like Germany? I've read you've been to Berlin as well, what are your impressions? :D
Your video is amazing like you
Thank you!😆
