Hi Hunter, it wont be as clean (if you use pliers for the bends) and it wont be as tight and clean if you use pliers because you have to reposition it each time you twist. Tried it and didn't work for me, but try it out and see if it works for you! :)

Where did you get the loop tool and what’s the name of the tool?
American Fishing Wire Eye Loop Tool - there are other versions from other brands and you can get cheaper unbranded ones in ebay :)
Omg... I’ve been trying to get this right for two days now.... still cant do it
keep at it. with the right tools, it's already very easy! :) Took me quite a few years to make them real clean. With the tools, it makes it a breeze!
