A few scraps and an inspiration can lead Maymay to create an amazing card!!!

~~Measurements~~
We used a A2 card base that is 4.25" x 5.50"
(5) 6" x .50" strips in different colors of cardstock
(1) piece of white cardstock that is approx 8" x 2.75" ... it just needs to be long enough to create a panel to fit your card base size
You will take the strips after creating your pattern and cut the down to 1/8" wide, we approx (33) strips

I came in late but I think it's called bargello or something like that. It's been years since I last did this technique. Thanks for the reminder. I used to also do this with different widths to change things up.

I love this so much. My transition from fabric to paper is a story that God has held my hand every step!
You're a quilter, so you might know. There's a quilt pattern that looks like waves called Bargello. It usually is monochromatic and would use squares instead of straps, but I'm sure you could figure out a way to do it with paper. (I first saw the quilt on Missouri Star Quilt Company's youtube!)
ANOTHER simply amazing MayMay scrap buster! Can't keep up with her fantastic ideas...cards weaved, quilted, punch hearts to tulips and on and on. Have to try them all, and that leads to trying different colors, etc. but mostly, makes me want to make more of all to give as sets!

Scrapbusters are always good. 😊 I cleaned up odds and ends of junk mail, old newspapers, and card stock scraps, and started a very nice fire in our fire pit. May be a nice night for S'more's. My son is home from Boston.❤
