Hiya, I did a similar easy job on my LR Freelander HSE 2005 model, I also used a non-factory kit from a reputable parts company. My old previous 1991 200TDi was not so easy but it got done. Thanks for the video. - Ian - UK.
Hey brother found you channel, talked to you this morning, great content and an even better doggo, also glad to see someone actually checking torque on spacers lol
You guys were great, made my little mess much easier! Always fun being somewhat stranded 600 miles from home haha. But really it was a big help and Sasha and I successfully made it back to Iowa last night after an eventful trip haha. Appreciate the hospitality. Shoot me an email sometime. Oh and yes, it seems most people are out of sight, out of mind on spacers haha.
I have a 2012 LR4 and am about to tow a box trailer. I'm so glad I found your video! I just ordered that wiring kit based on this. I'm excited to get it installed and hit the road!
Funny enough, the one you are picking up has an atlantic british tow kit on it that I installed along with the brake box. However the tow hitch itself is an aftermarket.
It pays to use a quality wiring kit in order to have a simple installation. Looking forward to seeing what you are off to fetch on the trailer, is it another addition to the current collection? Have a safe trip.🤞👍😎
@@LostCauseRanch hmmmm.. between the indestructible trailer hitch AND this roof rack.. those are two items I would pay you good money to you to make. :-) Man what a good business to be in
Sasha’s pissed you ran her bed over at the end 10:32 😂😂 2 questions… What brake controller did you use? What did you remove on your exhaust? Sounds good.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Good luck on your trip
Appreciate that!

I’ve never done a Freelander, good to know.
Good to hear from you Ian, hope all is well.
Great kit. Installed this harness three weeks ago. Easy and works great.
Awesome to hear, it is a pretty nice and simple setup.
I just did this exact addition on my friends car! Good stuff!
Nice, love when it is a fairly simple project.
@@LostCauseRanch when it's almost plug and play but you gotta think just a tiny bit with a project like that it's the best.
Definitely agree with that.

Haha. Now that is too funny. I could have just came down and robbed it all off there. See you guys soon.
Nice video.
Appreciate that.
Nice couple of small jobs in today's video. Now, I'm curious about this trip of yours.... 🤔🤔
It’s good to be able to tackle a couple small jobs without much pain haha. Soon on the trip.
Sasha and I are currently on the road.

I should be subtracting, but yes it is an addition (or addiction) haha.
Can’t wait to see what new toy you have acquired 😎👍@@LostCauseRanch
Appreciate your videos! Did you make your own roof rack? Perhaps a video on that?
Theres a lot of poor quality 3rd party kit out there but that wiring kit looked very well designed and made.
I agree, never quite sure what you will be getting. But was fairly confident in it as Atlantic British is a pretty good company.
Awesome detailed work as always!! Btw, where did you get that roof rack for the lr4?
Built it. I’ll dig up the link to that video. It’s T slot extruded aluminum.

Are you friends with Singing Camel?
I use to drive from MN to his shop for work on my 95 LWB
I'm about to do this but on their video on an LR3 they said the ligts need to be reprogramed.
Maybe the LR4 is smarter
Do you have the link to the hitch?
I need one for my lr4

There is the video of it being built. I'm considering building a few more to sell if you are interested.
simple enough but no jack stands huh, and you need your lift now.
I know. That was pretty sad of me. Even worse they were under the bench.
@@LostCauseRanch we the people point out the strangest things
Oh it is definitely something I should be better at. I’ve been around long enough to know haha.
