    Brilliant video. Thanks
Can I ask, is the pearl coat clear with pearls in it or orange pearl?
I got lamborghini Arancio Atlas Pearl
    ral 954164
And it's just a single orange base coat going over a white base coat.
I'm hoping it's going to change with the sun light like yours does ?
Or does this need an orange coat first the translucent clear with pearl to get that effect?

I do rate the upol clears for the money, alot of painters don't like them.

+andy paint yeah I love the upol clears. I use them all the time and not had any issues but I've heard a few people have had problems with it.

Excellent work and your video quality is outstanding! You have had the Sata 4400B awhile now - how do you like it? Would you recommend it? I'm trying to decide between the Sata and the DeVilbiss Sri Pro Lite. Mostly DYI guys and smaller projects but do not want to be hindered if I should like to do a complete panel or bonnet! Thanks again!

Thanks Jeff!, yes the 4400 is a good solid gun! If i was to reccomend either 4400 or sri i would go for the 4400. The SATA build quality is far better and lower maintenance than the SRI. Thanks and have a nice day!

@@RepairRefinishTV I see you're using the HVLP model as opposed to the RP. Yet the HVLP uses less cfm's. Which doesn't quite make sense to me. Any ideas?

If I'm correct you are using the 1.2 tip ? I know this gun offers a .3 tip (HVLP), and I was wondering If I could also use it as an Airbrush.
Wondering If I would be able to get some even finer lines with that kind of tip?
    Thank you

+Gotallofthem1 yes it most certainly can ve used as an air brush. I think its sata by dan am have a video using it for airbrushing

You're really hosing that paint on there. Nice work. Can you throttle this gun back for smaller work like motorcycle tanks, fenders etc?
    Thanks again

Yes it sure can, this 1.2 is quite heavy, I'd say a 1.0 or even a 0.8 would be good for smaller jobs

@@RepairRefinishTV Thank you for responding! I'm looking also at the Iwata LPH80. Will the 4400B give you a good flat glad finish without orange peel? Also why did you choose the HVLP instead of the RP model? The HVLP actually tires less cfm as per SATA! Thank you for your help

    Hello
    Is it waterbase?
Please could you tell your setup about spray gun ?
What light do you use to check the cover?
    Thanks

      Hi Sergio,
The base coat I am using is Lechler waterbased basecoat and the clear coat is U-Pol 20:81 with standard hardener.
The spray gun for base is a SATA 4400 HVLP 1,2 SR (the gun is more for small/medium jobs)
The spray gun for clear is a SATA 4400 RP 1,2 SR
And finally, the light is the Scangrip Sunmatch light. its a colour matching light which is great for checking coverage due to the high light output.
      Thanks
      Jordan
