Thanks for the excellent video. It helped a lot. If you ever have a problem with coils failing, change the voltage regulator. None of the dealers knew how to fix the issue. Sled runs great now.
I always just pulled the fitting and there was never pressure there. If you were concerned you could pull the fuel pump fuse and turn over the motor and that would pulse the injectors and relieve pressure if any existed.
@@Schneids15 Hope I'm not in over my head. Replacing water pump gear, starter, thermostat and oil cooler. All updated parts for my 2009 GTX 1200. Thanks for your help.
You do a great job at what you do you look very intent on keeping your snowmobile for a long period of time I admire that. How did you learn how to do this are you a Ski-Doo mechanic or what. You say you do about one year
Thank you. I am actually a Marine Mechanic. My snowmobile is about the newest thing i own and it gets babied. I realize how easy stuff can go wrong in the bush and you can freeze to death very fast so i try and keep it in tip top shape.
@@Schneids15 so when your tank looks like you're going to run out of gas I go by the Chipmunks and the level but the way your tank looks is the same as my touring tank I look like I got pretty much gas left after a half a tank then it would go slower wouldn't it the chunks would disappear slower with how much Mass is at the bottom of the tank? About the bush yes here in Wisconsin in the north I make sure my ATVs on my snowmobile is in Tip-Top shape because yes I'd hate to see the mountain lion and the Wolves I've seen before and the 500 pound black bear from April that would suck take care buddy thanks for answering my questions promptly
I learned the hard way that you have to be REALLY careful with that blue o-ring - you can ruin it too easily. Be careful with this. ADDITIONAL INFO To get the tank out: Remove the seat - (two seaters require 4 bolts in the tunnel to be removed to get the passenger seat off. Then the over-tank seat reuires you to unlatch it from the front and pull it back and off. Remove the tank - Empty it first. Remove the bolts on the pyramid arms. That quick-connect hose connector assembly on the entrance of the tank needs to be disconnected before removing the tank. There is a clip that needs to be pushed in on the quick connect (be careful doing this) and the electrical plug needs to be unhooked. Disconnect the air hose at the top of the tank too. Pull the tank straight back lifting the back end to get it out from under the pyramid arms.
I was asking because i have a 2009 summit with the 600 and this year, they were still having the small sock so i was thinking about changing it for a bigger one
Well done . Would love to see a video on setting and adjusting the electronic reverse on my 2015 XR 1200. Cheers

Would you know if the etec’s have that filter to? I gotta do mine
Hey rock. They do have a filter and i think they are the same. I’m not 100% though!
How do you release the fuel pressure without the BUDS system?
