- Hofstee Farms, Hartill Heavy Haul, and Marco Trucking were some of the early-birds to leave the 2019 Truckin' For Kids Show Sunday September 29th., 2019. I LOVE Hofstee's 1955 Peterbilt 350 cabover with it's drom-box!

Nice video. WTF !!!Why dont they move those cones ? 😮 Hello Mcfly ??
They need to rethink that cone situation there at the exit
Yes, luckily they did clear up that mess before the majority of the trucks started pulling out.
WTF's with restricting the turn with the cones? This is a truck show, they haul trailers!!!
2nd on the 55! NICE! Thanks, Scotty & Mel! Blessings 2 yall!
Thanks Lewie! Though the color of it doesn't quite please my eyes, it is always a nice treat to see that sweet Pete.
@@espeescotty Rithe for me too. I'm a DARK green man myself!
Jeez that guy coulda just moved the cones to make the turn easier for the combos lol
Yes! Luckily that cluster-F*** situation didn't last too long. The exit there was cleared of all the cones about an hour later before the big rush of trucks started to leave.

You may take it things back to the farm and park my goodness
This beautiful old thing back in circulation again?
I liked a video of this several years ago - I was thinking I'd love something like this to run here in the UK/EU but having just seen the fact that it couldn't even make that relatively easy turn at the start of the video put that idea to bed right away..
Is that a cargo box behind the cab or is it extra living space..? Nice video again
Thank you! That turn-out situation there was unnecessarily tight....especially for the long trucks, and there were many at the show. Yes, in the old days that box was extra cargo space. Called a dromedary box or drom box for short. Since this truck is no longer a working truck, the drom box and the trailer are open for many uses.
@@espeescotty Very interesting re the 'drom box'..useful extra cargo space on that very long wheelbase.
I still think this is one of the most beautiful and iconic US designs I've ever seen..quite something.
Kind regards from the UK
@@espeescotty Get you about the cones..but that should have been ample room for the truck to turn in though..You'd be faced with much worse than this on a daily basis over here..should have moved trailer axles forward and the fifth wheel forward too if that was at all possible?
Regards to all
I agree....these Peterbilts are an iconic design. I'd love to own one myself.
At least give them room to make the corner.
