I have used Linux only for years and I rarely have to use the terminal at all.You have plenty of options for personalising Linux depending on which desktop you use.I use many versions of Linux on my computers and it is as easy to use as Windows to me,also my wife uses Linux happily and she is a technophobe.
linux is user friendly, distros like linux mint or zorin os is very user friendly and linux is not popular because alot of reasons one of them is that linux is not pre-installed on most hardware also linux is 2% of the market linux is usable for most people because what most people do is opening a browser and linux offers them all also using terminal is not a proplem because it is easier to solve proplems you just copy/paste i know that not all people like to use terminal but 95% of your work will be done with GUI and who said that windows is more customizable than linux chek kde plasma customization dont tell people not accurate info.
Linux at the age of 90's and 2000-2010 was the future, now it's time to be the present. Microsoft is giving life to Adobe Corel etc. and Adobe Corel etc. they giving life to Microsoft. I am taking about the monopoly. We will see very soon extreme powerful applications for Linux, ok may be with a charge but we need to released from the dictactorship of companies that do NOT respect the users. Gimp and Inkscape they have a lot to do before they can deal with those "monsters" of image manipulation and drawing process, i am a master level of coreldraw and phottoshop, i can tell you this, their programs is full of shitware but if i try to use Gimp or Inkscape i need only 20 seconds to make them crash. That's why we need powerful software to break this monarchy and if i have to pay i will pay the double! More stable than Linux does not exist, let's go to the next level and have a nice day!
