there's a LOT of things that Dennis doesn't know how to do right, i'm thinking that knowing how to wreck someone is not at the top of Dennis' need to know list.
probably should go more like:
1 - don't assault cops
2 - don't ignore cops' orders while committing crimes directly in front of them
3 - follow the instructions of track officials before you get trespassed off the property

Those fellows weren't security guards, they had handcuffs, they were police officers. He wasn't being escorted from the track; he was being taken to jail.
@@iflick7235 just because they have the word sheriff on the back doesn't mean they're on duty. Off duty sheriff's play security at racetracks. Only thing that happened was him getting escorted from the track on a ban.

Wow, I used to watch Billy Pauch at Flemington in the 1980s
He is 64 and runs a limited schedule now. His daughter Mandee has a RUclips channel called 'Dirt Track Untold', where she chronicles dirt races that her dad, brother, and her husband(Mike Mahaney) race in during the season.

Commonwealth States are different than a "regular" State, one of those ways (as I understand it and live in the Commonwealth of Kentucky...lol) individuals don't press charges, the State does.
So it's not up to the individual to press charges or not, I think...lol

There’s a reason most of these announcers are not on television.
Guy could've been a little smoother doing the wrecking but that's what happens when you drive someone straight into the wall. I'd be kinda surprised if he was actually arrested, probably just placed into custody to calm down. This ain't nascar where they treat half million dollar cars like a mcdonalds cup.
Maybe the cops took him away because he did a too good a job with the PIT maneuver. Just trying to save their jobs. ;)

Placerville is one of the worst tracks I've been to.
You should have seen it about 30 years ago, its a palce compared to what it used to be.
Been there a few times for the Hangtown races and love the place.

@@stevegabbert9626 I've been to numerous tracks across the country. The other one that I really liked was called (I believe) Hickory which was east of New Castle PA. If you can get to Lernerville Raceway, that one is nice.
I think they should let those two just go at it especially considering the first guy didn't get a Black flag for intentionally putting someone in the wall. I understand rubbing is racing I'm all for that but when you purposely put someone in the wall because you can't f****** drive you should be parked and banned from the track. If you can't race without putting someone in the wall because your butt hurt you shouldn't be allowed to race. And family has a right to defend family especially in an uncalled for racing incident.

He's been racing top level big block modifieds probably longer than you've been alive ... shut up. This is like saying why doesn't Lewis Hamilton quit F1 to prove he's really good by racing NASCAR or rally cars or something.
"Bigger/Biggest" Block Modifieds do not exist, yet.
Why did he get escorted
When you push a cop you usually get a ride in the back of the Police car.
Because he wouldn't go by himself
a - he's going to jail. he shoved a badged and uniformed cop and did Assault and Battery on multiple people. that's multiple violent misdemeanors, some of them on cops. very stupid.
b - there's a good chance he's banned or at least suspended from the track, and the track is certainly trespassing him for this night of racing. cops doing security at a venue, even if Off Duty, tend to be considered as "track officials" and disobeying / assaulting them is usually considered to be the same offense as against an actual track official.

Seriously, after they saw what was doing, they should have black flagged him, if he wouldn't come off they should have stopped the race until they could make him leave and then banned him. It's racing. People are going to hit his brother now and then. You can't try to kill them for doing it.
This guy needs to learn the difference between "tenth", "hundredth", and "thousandth" of seconds! One place to the right of a decimal point is "tenth" of a second, two places to the right of a decimal point is "hundredth" of a second, three places to the right of a decimal point is "thousandth" of a second! The drag race he claimed was won by "one thousandth of a second", was actually just over two hundredths of a second....just saying....
The scoreboard shows ET, not overall. RT+ET could have easily been that margin.
That guy should be band from the track. Violence should not be tolerated in any sport. Just my opion. Have a great weekend everyone.
Some people like Fenati or also this guy should be banned from racing for life.
