Gosh I feel sick I had to get rid of my piano when moving houses for work. If this was "expert" I used to play a slightely more intermediate version of this when I was early teens. 10 years later I've only played a handful of times since. Standard Keyboards really are not enjoyable. Wish I could have a piano again. Deffo a priority for my next home to have a room dedicated to a piano just like it deserves. Thankyou for allowing us to enjoy this wonderful piece and not confiding it to your 4 walls. Bravo.

From what I gather on yt you seem to be the only man on earth who plays the intro as it should be played with that beautiful c# together with f and g before the resolution .There seem to be a lot of « tutorials »played with a natural c which ruins it all in my opinion( totally missing the gospel influenced feeling if the original part .)That being said most of the scores you can find are written with a natural c …

@@Montechait I mean 37th "measure?" or "bar", the numbering in your sheet. and I mean your sheet sounds different from what you played in the video. I would appreciate your checking.
Bar 37 appears at 1:45 in my video. I play exactly the notes that are written in the sheet music (it's also the exact same bass line that appears in the original recording by Simon & Garfunkel at 1:44). Can you point to a specific note I play in the video that is written differently in the sheet music?
It was a bit thin in the bass for that final crescendo. Suggest doubling the octaves in the left hand.. as per the official sheet music. Otherwise, very creditable cover version, and a whole lot better than I could do without the help of the dots. Great number, isn't it? Still has the ability to move people to tears....
