It took me a few tries to figure out the mimics, but omg i love them so much! and the lovable cooking has absolutely saved me with merri because ive been so busy trying to get every color variety of animal that i haven't gotten more than a few golden animal craftables. if this is the first update, i cant even imagine everything thats coming
oooo another tip on mimics I learned through gameplay-- If you use the elevator to spawn monsters for materials, the mimic chests don't seem to spawn on levels ending in '0' or '5' like the elevators go to. Just in case you want to come across them more often! 🧡 Ahhh good luck on the color variety grind and with Merri! This is a small but huge feature that I love about this game :) SO excited for what's next from the devs!!

I totally agree with this and I come from HM/SOS as well! I believe we'll be getting an animal festival (this is a very subtle slip of dialogue from Hayden that I caught when the game released into EA. It could be patched now). There's a lot on this topic that I want to share that I'll save for a review video on the game so far. Thanks again for your continued support! 💖
I think there will be quite a few, more than SV, according to info players have found by data mining in the existing code. You can see the list on the official wiki, I won’t write them here in case you don’t want spoilers. Hope that helps :)

I love listening to your voice/videos in the background, so soothing. I have been putting off getting animals bc they take so much time to take care of but I know I’ll need to get started on ranching sooner or later. a bit sad that the bell only gets unlocked at higher perk lvls, would’ve loved to get that one earlier on. for the loveable & likeable cooking - idk if the community tested if these two interfere with eachother and if likeable needs to be turned off to only get a chance at loveable?
There’s a reddit post i saw recently where someone tested it and yes, it’s better to turn off any you don’t want as only a third (or so, can’t remember exactly) will be special typically so it’ll be one of the turned on perks, not automatically more outcomes with perks - if that makes sense? It’s on the mistria subreddit either way :)
Aww thank you! I'm glad you find my voice soothing 💖 Ranching can be pretty tricky early on (especially when there's so much to do early on on the game!) because animals in FoM can be a bit finicky. By that, I mean their heart levels tend to drop pretty quickly is you miss a day of feeding, petting, or letting them in/outside. But the daycare is such a nice feature I've used quite a bit if I'm planning to grind in the mines for a few days, or decorate the farm and want to keep their heart levels the same. Exactly what Bri said in the comments, my guess is that If you turn off likable cooking, there may be a higher probability to receive loved dishes. I'd be curious to test this theory and make a video sharing my findings! Thanks again for watching!

Ahh it'll be worth the wait (imo)! I really don't want to say say anything more except to talk to Josephine and Olric the next day after the event. The dialogue (i think?) only is for a limited time, and luckily a friend on discord was so sweet to remind me otherwise I would have missed it. It's the little things that add so much 🧡
i still dont know how to jump attack i kept pressing space and e but it didnt work:( good to know i dont have to get bitten by those chests anymore.. theyre so cat URGGH its adorable

We haven't hit the full release yet! There's still a lot to come including additional vendors at the Saturday market, dating/marriage, more mine levels, full story/questline-- I think the devs are just scratching the surface but have been very generous with the content they've given us so far!
I hope you can unlock all the cute cosmetics for Borsa-- there's a lot for cows! :D Having mounts makes life so much easier and adds soo much to overall gameplay. I'll patiently wait for the full release / a potential giant chicken mount. My spring chicken (Fern) is currently my favorite💚
