More than 10 double black runs, 3 extreme double diamond runs. MY FIRST WIPEOUT IN YEARS! Taken in the Thunderbowl at Aspen Highlands (February 27th, 2023)
These should not be double blacks. They don’t compare to doubles in the east. For decades, before ski areas started using double blacks, all these were just blacks. These are not new lines that have only recently been opened. These were standard blacks for a long time, back when our skis were over 200 cms.
I can never win 😂, whenever I make a video on East doubles the west says theirs are harder, then the video for west doubles has an East skier saying it’s better there. But as a fellow East Coast Skier, I cannot agree more 👍
These supposed double black diamond runs would only be black diamond runs in most eastern ski areas. And by the way, you’re not a good enough skier to ski on this trail.
