    In cantilever retaining wall, when we are using rankines theory , there is a angle making between vertical face AB and inclination angle AC na , if inclination angle crosses the stem it may fail right , my question is what angle be the safe angle

      0.28 is the percentage of steel in tension as per Indian Standard (SP-16)

      IS 456:2000 and there are derived formula for design of retaining wall, which you will not get from any code and you need to remember the concept.

      SBC means Soil Bearing Capacity.
      The Soil should be such that it resist the upcoming load for structure.
