I don’t know if you’ve ever tried it, but there are a number of gas stations that sell really good meals, at very reasonable prices. I’m in the Midwest, and there’s a couple of gas stations in my neighborhood that sell really good restaurant quality cooked food. But yeah ☺️ they do seem to have much better quality snack food there!
The only good thing I've ever really had from an American gas station is the deep fried chimichangas from Allsups and we have to travel towards New Mexico for those. I really wish we had a bigger variety of delicious looking/tasting meals.
This is totally off the subject, but I have compliment you guys on the background music you use. It's at a perfect volume and really adds something to your videos even though it's barely audible. Don't change a thing.
Now maybe you could do one more wrap up for this series where you showcase the best of the best in each group, regardless of where it's from? For example , the best onigiri, the best hamburg steak, the best dessert, etc. Then, see which store had the most number of best of the best items. 🙂 I sure wish our convenience stores had such good quality foods. I don't know why the quality in the USA is crap compared to Japan, and I am mad about that.
Just ordered my first Bokksu subscription (3 Months) with your discount code - can't wait to try out all the different snacks! Thanks for suggesting this, I am soooo hyped for the first box!
I love these videos. Your descriptions are so vivid that I can almost taste the food. Thank you both (and Justin 🐶 ❤️) for all you do for your viewers.
I am so impressed by these convenience store foods! There seems to be such a wide variety of foods of a decent quality and price, which is not what you generally find in Canada where I live :)
Famima Mapo Tofu taste really delicious, not gonna lie. I agree with you guys. Also the portions is quite big maybe because they don't include rice on it
Satoshi is correct in saying that the technology of freezing food has improved. The packages that go straight to the microwave for a few minutes are remarkable. It appears you have a greater variety of these in Japan and of better quality.
I just cant do convenience store food... so after I saw your birthday video this morning, I went shopping and made shrimp tempura... vegetables too I did shrimp, red bell pepper, sweet onion and kale
Great 3 part series guys. Next time y'all do a format like this (comparing like foods from different places) it'd be interesting to do the same foods at the same time. Then you can really compare them to each other. Thanks for sharing!
How's the hamburguer...? Answer...high diplomatic standard opinion...it's ok! 😁 ...my favourite is the chocolate cheesecake. It looks delicious, unfortunatelly there is no way I can find it in Portugal, anyway as a portuguese saying goes...it's eating with ones eyes! Thank you once again, stay safe!
Guys, I have tried both the 7-11 and Familymart beef patty in sauce. The 7-11 one is better, the taste is more flavorful. The familymart one is good, but if given a choice, I would do 7-11.
You know which place has the best shirunashi tantanmen ever and you guys should totally try?? Kousagi Ramen right outside of Otsuka station by ikebukuro
I would say this is a food product review rather than a Mukbang. In a typical Mukbang, the focus is to eat and finish large quantities of food. These hosts sampled different items, rather than finish them all completely.
Looks delicious! The Salmon Belly Onigiri you guys made in one of your previous videos has inspired my wife and I to make our own and seeing it again here makes my mouth water. I'll have to make it very soon!
I looked through all the comments from this video and the other 2 videos and wasn't able to find anyone who mentioned the name of the show. But after doing some googling I found a trailer for it! ruclips.net/video/2hzIVK5-zw4/видео.html
I would really like to see what they offer for their frozen food section. For I thought that frozen foods are only found in supermarkets rather than convenience stores.
We are planning a trip to Japan from Canada as soon as we can, Prob. Next year, and it’s so nice to see that you can get good for cheap when you want to take a break from the restaurants. Keep up the good work,
Thank you for this series, we miss Family Mart. We are looking forward to another visit to Japan, some day. Sigh. Your videos are great! Happy Birthday Shinichi. Hawaii is also on our list to go to again, some day.
What inspired the design of the new sweatshirts that you guys are wearing? I really love the design. Also, are there pockets in the front of the sweatshirts? Really thinking of purchasing one. Mahalo from Hawaii....JM
I wanted one that was simple and streamlined in design. I personally don’t wear logo designs so this is a design that I personally like. Yes there are pockets in the front. You can check out the details on our merch site. Link is in the description
Our 7-11 as you might know is not the same. They are trying to be better but well... maybe someday. The famichicki looks like what I’d live on if I lived there. Love you both stay safe!!♥️🐾😷
Good content. I wanna try them all when I go to Japan. I know Japan’s department store sells a lot of food too. Maybe do some review of those department chain stores?
There are 3 convenient stores in my neighborhood: 7-11/ Lawson and Family Mart. I prefer lunch during the state of emergency at 7-11 the most regarding the variety and taste. It’s very sad that many small homey restaurants are not open everyday anymore. I hope that after the pandemic, they will reopen again.
I tried the regular salmon onigiri from a Lawson off Kyobashi st in Ginza, it was good but a lil dry and a bit shallow in general volume. Should’ve gone with the PREMIUM!
Hi Guys looks yummy whilst we don't have good food in convenience stores, from suburb to suburb we can find so many international flavours from Thai to Afghanistan,so can't complain&tonight was deep Fried crab shell, yummo Satoshi has come such a long way with his confidence, its lovely to see&peck yesterday was adorable, thanks
@TabiEats (1) Happy Birthday Shinichi (2) A request to review items from Costco I was curious about the Costco membership-only warehouse clubs in Japan being that live in Seattle which is close to their headquarters in Issaquah, Washington and I was curious about different they are there vs the ones in the United States.
O yes do a frozen food series from the kombini and/or supermarket. I've tried the takoyaki frozen from the 100 yen lawson and that one I absolutely didn't like, but I always wondered about other foods.
If you are ever in 三重県、I highly recommend 担担麺や 天秤 in 四日市市。Soooo gooooood. They also have a store in Nagoya, but I haven't been there yet so can't recommend it, but I'm sure it's also awesome.
i prefer Famichiki over the other konbinis. i am supposed to fly again to JP 2 weeks ago but it was cancelled. i have another one in October but i think it will be cancelled too. bummer
I just wish American covinience stores had such great meals and snacks

You must not have Wawa by you
Joyce Gentile right! We are lucky to get a stale donut!
@@Mrsblkhammer my dad loves the chimichangas from Allsups as well. My mom and I prefer their bean burritos instead.
Shinichi has such graceful hands. He could be a hand model!

They're so nice and polite to the poor tasting hamburg steak lol.
Did he say it tasted like hound???
@@Nick-iq1pw he said it tasted like ham
@@MoonBunnyCreative Thank you ☺️
@@Nick-iq1pw no problem! :)
From the looks of it, the premium salmon onigiri is worth the extra ¥70, based on how much more fish you get in it.
I really like how Japan has these stores, they are amazing everything is so well priced and the quality is amazing for the price.
Yes, even in Thailand Family Mart had a lot more filling in their Onigiri than 7-11 My favourite is Ikura.
Sabaidee Prepforit. Here in Laos, your next door neighbor. We have some Japanese restaurant in Vientiane. The ramen noodle and sushi are my favorites.
I am so impressed by these convenience store foods! There seems to be such a wide variety of foods of a decent quality and price, which is not what you generally find in Canada where I live :)
The food at the conbini's is really good and surprisingly fresh. Especially the items that are meant to be "just snacks".
Sabaidee Satoshi and Shinichi. Here in Laos, we have a couple Japanese restaurant that just opened in Vientiane. The food is awesome I must say.
Happy birthday by the way! Almost forgot. It was a loooong day
Love it when Satoshi is lost for words and Shinichi has that cheeky and fun face while waiting patiently. Yin and Yang 🙏🏼
Shinichi's reaction to the onigiri is everything. :)
Hey Shinichi and Satoshi yes l can't for my box every month yummie enjoy these video of covinience mart
You guys made me so hungry! 🥺✨

The packaging of the chocolate cheesecake is pretty :)
Love your comparisons from convenience stores. Keep up the great content.
Famima Mapo Tofu taste really delicious, not gonna lie. I agree with you guys. Also the portions is quite big maybe because they don't include rice on it
The chicken & salmon would be my favorites.
Even the frozen food in Japan look surprisingly appetizing
I loove family mart mabodofu😍 when I was in Japan I bought it everyday..😁
wow! i've never been here this early. thanks for being my study distraction lmao. i love your content.

What are typical fillings for onigiri? Salmon yes, but what other delights?
the an pan would be perfect for breakfast
Frozen food series sound awesome to me 🤩
If I get the chance to visit Japan, I’d be totally fine food wise as long as there’s a convenience store nearby and some vending machines lol
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHINICHI!!!!
I remember when Satoshi wasn’t a fan a spice and all I hear this video is that dishes need more spice more pepper.
Wow! The name of that cheese cake.😆😆😆
Looked good though. Loved Satoshi's translation.
Love discovering wonderful taste test.
