    I have found this jig to more accurate vs a tower three jig setup. I have both. This jig is slower but I'll take that because the finish job offers more accurate alignment. Great video that shows all the features one requires to fletch an arrow.

      Yeah, this is the fist time fletching arrows for me, and i did a lot of research before deciding on this. I think its a very well made, budget friendly option, that provides a great end result. Thanks for your feedback and thanks for watching.

    I’ve used one like this for years. With instant glue it’s really pretty fast. You can get a crazy straight offset on like 23’s or 27’s if you want. I do a pretty strong offset for my hunting arrows. Probably at least 3 degrees on some Black Eagle Carnivore shafts. They fly like darts with Magnus Black Hornet heads.

      I have heard great things about Black Eagle arrows. I might try using Magnus this season. Thanks for watching.

    I'm playing with the same jig, I am no where near a archery shop so it's far cheaper just to make up three arrows try them if they fly like crap, strip the fletching off try something different brilliant fun...👍👍

    You can’t get past 3 degrees on a small or micro shaft because the clamp hits the front piece that holds the arrow also it doesn’t line up the Arizona max is the only way to get that crazy helical

    I am 3 minutes into this and you are already MILES ahead of 99% of of the reviews on this jig. And like somebody else said.. Try the Black Eagle arrows.
    I am using a GOAT Tough jig. It works very well, but no left helical and my bows are spinning arrows left.

      Thanks so much. I appreciate the kind words. I ended up using Easton Axis this season and we will see how that goes. Might have to look into the Black Eagles for next season. Thanks for watching.

      Agreed. I immediately went and bought one after watching this video! It looks like it’s a better setup than the Arizona I bought that’s just strictly 3 vanes and no longer than 2.2” or so. I’ve been wanting to try some longer vanes and this will get me there cheaper! Thanks for the awesome review!

    I noticed you mentioned that it does 2 degrees but could probably do 3-5 degrees. Does it have markings for 3 degrees?

    • @j.r.outdoors247
      @j.r.outdoors247  5 месяцев назад

      It only has marks for 0 and 2 degree, but the screw holes are slotted far enough to make 3 for sure maybe even 4-5 degrees.

      I dont see why it wouldn't. I used it with 5mm shafts this year with no issues.

    • @j.r.outdoors247
      @j.r.outdoors247  6 месяцев назад

      I have never fletched any bolts, but i don't see why it wouldn't work just the same.

    Why right?

    • @j.r.outdoors247
      @j.r.outdoors247  2 месяца назад

      I bought the Jig in right and then bought the left extra attachment. Now i can fletch right and left. Some aftermarket strings are wound differently and clock the opposite way. So now i can fletch for either direction of spin.

    If you have to wipe off excessive glue, you are using too much. Too much glue is just as bad as not enough.

    • @j.r.outdoors247
      @j.r.outdoors247  7 месяцев назад +1

      I agree, too much glue is bad- that's why i wiped it off- because it's excessive.

    I don't think arrow fletching is an exact science, it's probably about as basic as it gets, my favorite is the single or multi jojan fletcher, but the rest of the others fletching designs are just simply strictly opinion
