    Whats the different between capital Q with dot and small q with dot?

    • @CharlieSanches
      @CharlieSanches 9 месяцев назад

      Q_dot is Heat Transfer and q_dot is heat flux.

    • @jamesturcotte3689
      @jamesturcotte3689 9 месяцев назад +4

      Actually in this case, Q_dot is "rate" of heat transfer, and q_dot is rate of heat transfer on a per mass basis. Basically just heat transfer divided by mass, with units of kj/kg in the metric system.

      @@jamesturcotte3689 Cool thank you.

      Q with dot is in KJ/s or KW it means that it is the heat added or removed per unit time, while the small q is in KJ/KG, it is the heat per mass of the system

    what is the difference between m with dot and m ?

      @daanhoffman8773 7 месяцев назад

      M with dot is the mass flow, so derivative of mass difference over time
