i love the look of this game, takes some of the fun combat from Mass Effect, and the amazing lore and story of dragon age! There are tons of new details if you would like to hear them!
I've yet to finish Mass Effect but I didn't hate the combat system, will just take some getting used to for me just like with any new game. I have seen some things on twitter but yes please, I love hearing about all the details!!
@@vixrora great! ill try to lay out what i heard! Character Creator: -Full customization with all the sliders you can think of! @@vixrora I will try my best to lay out the details i have heard recently, as well as my lore theories! You can keep the appearance from armor sets so you can have the look and the stats. -you can edit your Rook’s appearance later in the game to make any changes you need. Secrets/Rumors/Theories: -(Rumor) Dorian is the one talking over the magical intercom in the gameplay trailer. -(secret) Crafting returns but is done through a “mysterious entity” - (Theory, book spoiler) Mythal’s spirit is with Solas, similar to where Wynne gave up her spirit to a templar. Flemeth was similar Wynne, Cole, or Anders, where they were saved by a spirit at their lowest moments (aka near death). Flemeth’s moment was when she ‘died’ as Andraste, saved by the spirit of Mythal. -(Theory) Flemeth used her daughter’s willingness to pass on their life to her to extend her life (aka heal Mythal). Similar to Cole who thought he needed to kill those wanting to die in the dungeon to not “fade away”. So the old god in Morrigan’s son was used to heal Mythal. -(Theory my crackpot lore idea) The “old gods” and the “Evenyuris” (elf gods) were alive around the same time. Solas, aka the Dreadwolf was a manipulator in a war between gods: those that created and were nicer, and those who forced slavery and darker things to occur. Solas offered a weapon to either side that would end the war, telling the gods to search the heavens (what is now the black city) and the depths (the deep roads where the archdemons are now sealed). Meaning the Tevinter gods maybe sought the ones in the depths, and the elven gods sought the ones in the heavens (the fade). Where Solas trapped them both.
i had to refresh my memory myself because i honestly forgot some of the details but in one of the earlier showcases (which has been a few years so i can't quite remember which one it was) there was concept art shown which portrays solas and the idol & he looks like he is reaching for it. then in the short story "dreadwolf take you" in tevinter nights, the idea that it was originally belonging to solas is explored further, and even seems to confirm the theory (but i suppose we won't truly know until the game comes out). there are others out there who go into the theory in more detail, but that's just the basics of it!

I'm not sure why anyone would think the red lyrium idol was Solas's? What's the basis for this theory?
