I've been studying this for months, and never understood it (except formally). Just 2 minutes of this video, and I got it. Don't know if I should be happy or ashamed.
I am grad student in quantum optics, I will say I think I have more of a chance to understand General Relativity than Crystallography. I still don't understand this.
What a fantastic little video. I find it ok to describe where a spot comes from. But how the reflections relate to electron density is always a tricky thing for people to understand. Now i can just send them a url.. thanks
Very nice explanation! Kudos! Q. Does information about the different planes giving characteristic intensity spot important? and if it is then how do we get to know which spot is from which plane? Thanks.
this video is INCREDIBLY helpful. finally something in 3D, not a flat slide with equations. thank you so much!!!

@@julietten5614 I still don't get it

Thank you so much for this video. I am deeply happy to find this contents for free, and available for international community.

thanks a lot! it help me so much
Terrific animation, such clear depiction that makes it so easy to understand, thanks for the video (including knowledge and time)
nice video, thank you!
Thank you so much!!! Excelent!!!
brilliant thank you!!

Thanks.
But how do you know a specific intensity corresponds to a specific miller index plane?
thank you
omg! i finally got it :D:D thanks a lot
