Thank you for this video. I went and checked out this spot and found a bunch of crystals on the path along the way. Some very nice clear crystals. Thanks again.
Yup, you took the words right out of my mouth when you said, "gold pan"...what a spot to do a little sampling. Gorgeous crystals! Thanks for taking us along!
DMI, I like your straight forward narrative. Yep, I am entranced by the quartz's natural shapes and their transparency, which is akin to Diamonds of the first water. (Old reference to the finest color and clarity of the early found Diamonds during the era pre-the Zimbabwe appellation of Rhodesia.) I spent 10 years digging in my Diamond mine (actually a huge volcanic- earthen-mound...abundant with quartz crystals.) T'was a sweet period of my now aged life.
Give me a tailing's pile any day! Beautiful crystals. Enjoyed the trek with you up the mountain, your finds and your video, of course. Thanks for the safety warnings, also. 👏👏👏☺️
Hey there. I'm from New Zealand. Love your vids. Been rock collecting since I was 10. Lol, 52 now. Wish my country had more range of crystals. We have a ton of quartz and Jasper and Obsidian. Most of our gold is in the quartz... Hard to extract yet alone find. Cheers.
Enjoy your videos. Helped on finding Crystal Vista but not on finding the dig for blue crystals. Can you add GPS coordinates for your trip as I cannot find a Crystal Rd for the Crystal Caves. There is a Crystal Park Rd off of Hwy 27 South of Mt Ida but unable to find the hiking trail to the caves.
Never mind, as I see other comments saying it is now private property and bulldozed over. Still, GPS coordinates in posts will help your followers. Regards, TomV
I just happened to catch this. So glad i did! I have two little boy's that are Autistic. One is non verbal. Both are d.h.r. placed with me. They love crystals, artifacts, arrowheads. They loved watching you! They collect crystal's from far and wide. We hope to see much more of you. They love exploring and hunting artifacts. Sadly i must be extremely cautious about where i take them as they have no fear or sense of danger which makes it very dangerous on outings.
Thank you for replying. You earned my respect . not many people take the time to reply.you made two little boy's very happy just by saying hello. Thank you so much for that!

live in Arkansas, been to mines and just the area many times. Crystals are easy to find, right after rain you can find them on the ground. Look for straight lines. Seriously. They can be caked in mud, especially clay, but you will see straight lines. You will find them. Keep them caked in clay until you get home, it protects clusters. Use laundry cleaner that removes rust like iron out or bright and white, it will get the iron deposits off, just soak them in it after you wash clay off. Good luck.
I was born and raised in Central Arkansas, and have been quartz hunting around Mt. Ida and Hot Springs most of my adult life. This is the first that I have ever heard of this area. I have GOT to check this place out. Thanks. 🙂🙂🙂
Hey there, I've been going through all your vids and just finished this one. We recently took our first trip up to Arkansas to dig quartz and ended up going to the wegner phantom mine. I'm already planning a trip up there when the temps cool down and I'd love to give this spot a go. Great vids, cheers mate.
