My wife and I were there for 5(!) days in Nov. 2018. Not much to see really, the green spaces needed watering and tending to, the streets a clean up. The costanera is a nice walk in the evening though and is safe. Much prefer Encarnacion really.
I do not recommend anyone coming to my country, and our capital is awful, dirty and unsafe. The government is making us poorer each year and we are an extremely conservative nation that is constantly getting worse in social terms and equality, and people make the streets full of trash.

@@molly_wonder Dear Molly, you are right to some extent. However, Paraguay is slowly improving although it still has a long way to go. There are nice areas and not so good areas, like any other country, including the US and Europe. Have you seen the homeless people and street tents lately in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and many Southern rural towns in decay in the US? On the whole, I still look at the positive side of Py, and I enjoy the City of Asuncion. Cheers!
Paraguay is the only hope for South America, the only not socialist failed state there, and why you don`t move to one of the neighbor failed socialist states? Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, all failed states, just Paraguay is a hope for everybody who wants not to be enslaved by the state by taxes.
It looks like we were there about the same time! I loved my time in Asuncion, felt safe everywhere I went, and was welcomed by the locals.
Finally. Someone sees the true Glory of Paraguay 👍👍

Great video. Excellent commentary, scenes and music.
Asuncion florida y verde,de jazmines y azahares,de soleadas calles y bellos amaneceres.
