I know this video is over a year old and I had been on the fence about the Velluto. So glad I found this video. The close up and description was very helpful. If you see this I'd love to know how it preformed. I just placed my order today. I also really want the Linton Vacances and I'll have to put that on list for Valentine's Day.
Hey, it has held up really well. There are a few signs of use but that is to be expected. I still use it on my Bible and find it to be very functional and pretty. The only disadvantage could be the discomfort that comes with using a zippered cover on a planner where you have to write a lot daily.

The Linton Vacances you mentioned earlier piqued my interest too but I get scared to buy lighter colours since I don't take extra care with the covers. Thank you. I love these zipper covers. Generally, I find zipper covers bulky but these are fine and not as expensive as the tweed ones. Are you looking to buy all 3 covers from this design?
😂I totally agree with you about the bag and last years pen. That bag seems so pointless, and this year’s pen is so much cuter. Sadly, I already misplaced my pen before 2023 ended. 😞 Thank you for talking about what fits the Hon! I was debating about that green cover, and I’m probably getting it now that I know it fits the Hon, especially with the clear cover. This was so helpful.
Yes, most of the time, the Hobonichi freebies go to my nephews or other kids. Misplacing pens is a common occurrence for me too. I have been storing one pen without using it from recent years as a souvenir. Glad I could help you with the green cover. I love using it, very functional with all the pockets. The other A5 cover will probably be not used much by me because I've moved into the HON and that doesn't fit in the cover. It is sadly a wasteful expense for me in the long run. So I hope people can watch this video and make right decisions about the covers.
The photos on the hobonichi website show that the green on the inside is bright green. But your video shows a dark green. I am just wondering what kind of green it looked like in person?
Hey, that is a good point that you brought up. Sadly, even though I filmed in natural light, sometimes the colours will vary depending on the device used. I had not focused much on the interior as most of it gets covered by the book placed over it. I checked the Hobonichi website images and the cover that I have. My cover definitely has a brighter interior compared to the dark green exterior, so it does look a lot different on the inside, but matches quite well with the dark green zipper area and the ribbons and the tips of it. However, it is not too bright as shown on the website. Hope that helps you.

I plan to buy the A5 size because I can fit any size journal in it and I love the green color. It will be great for traveling.
