It needs to be cleaned from the upper side of white colored plastic. You have to oil it on the upper side of the rod where the plastic cap is fixed and then keep rotating until the issue gets resolved.
I'm sorry but it didn't work for my mop...I put more grease but still the same the noise is in there and then it's more hard to rotate I wasted my time fixing it🙄🙄I think I'll buy new one...
