  • The petition of intent to be said before making tzitzitot is:
    Baruch atah YHWH Elohenu Melek Ha'Olam, Asher Kidshanu B'Mitzwotau W'Tziwanu Le'Sheim Mitzwat Tzitzitot
    Benevolent are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the Universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and has commanded us for the sake of the commandment of tzitzitot
    Before putting on Tzitzits in the morning the following petition is to be said:
    Baruch atah YHWH Elohenu, Melek Ha'Olam, Asher Kidshanu B'Mitzwotau W'Tziwanu Al Mitzwa Tzitzit
    Benevolent are You, YHWH our Elohim, Who has sanctified us with His commandments as has commanded us about the commandment of tzitzits
    Make sure you acquire a four cornered garment! Tallit Katans!
